Duties :
- Develop and implement the departmental Supply Chain Management strategy aligned with legislative and policy frameworks. Manage procurement and contract management processes to ensure compliance and value for money. Oversee asset and inventory management, including the maintenance of a fixed asset register. Ensure effective transport and logistics support services. Lead the development and execution of the departmental demand management strategy and plan. Oversee the demand and acquisition processes, ensuring alignment with financial planning and departmental needs. Establish and oversee the functioning of the Bid Specification Committee (BSC), Bid Evaluation Committee (BEC), and Bid Adjudication Committee (BAC). Provide strategic advice and support to the CFO and executive leadership. Promote good governance, ethical conduct, and anti-corruption measures within Supply Chain Management operations. Support the implementation of procurement systems and controls to mitigate risks and prevent irregular expenditure. Ensure compliance with PFMA, PPPFA, BBBEE, Treasury Regulations, and other relevant legislation. Manage human and financial resources within the Directorate.

Staff Supervision
- Ensure performance contracts are signed and implemented for all employees.

- Collaborate with HR to identify development goals and create action plans.
- Facilitate ongoing training and employee development initiatives.
- Address employee relations matters fairly, promptly, and in line with HR procedures.
- Gather and respond to employee feedback to improve workplace engagement.
Cost and Financial Control
- Assist with budget planning and provide timely input.
- Promote efficient, cost-effective use of financial and operational resources.
- Monitor expenditure to ensure compliance with budgetary limits and financial policies.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and procedures; report deviations as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee national inbound and outbound supply chain operations to support service delivery.
- Manage warehouse processes to ensure optimal layout, utilisation, and product quality.
- Implement and maintain Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) strategies on D365 across all regions.
- Lead regional warehouse teams, administrators, and logistics personnel.
- Conduct monthly stock counts and inspections to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Continuously improve warehouse SOPs to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement fleet management strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance using D365 tools.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for inventory, MRP, and reporting
- Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and inventory control
- Warehouse layout optimisation and SOP development

- Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis
