The key purpose of this role is to maximize business value, enhance overall value chain predictability and performance through improved sales forecast accuracy and effective portfolio management. The Demand Planning Specialist will do this by analysing and enriching statistical forecasts and collaborating with commercial teams, ensuring alignment and consensus on both weekly and monthly forecasts for release to the supply chain, while optimizing the product portfolio.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support and Manage Zone LCP as per Scope Requirement (E.g. Demand Planning, Portfolio, Management, S&OP)
- Prepare, Manage and Facilitate key Demand and Portfolio routines (E.g. S&OE, S&OP, Portfolio Review, Demand Review, Supply Review)
- Oversee the generation and validation of statistical forecasting outputs, ensuring the application of best-fit models and appropriate disaggregation across relevant time horizons.
- Drive Touchless Demand Planning through enriched statistical forecasting and improved statistical forecast accuracy.
- Champion commercial enrichment initiatives (E.g. Marketing Calendars, Events, Promotions, NPDs, Discontinuations)
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with commercial, supply chain, and finance teams to integrate business intelligence and market trends into planning and portfolio decisions, including the integration of scenario planning and risk management into the demand planning cycle
- Direct the preparation, analysis, and implementation of recommendations for Demand Planning data (e.g., master data, aggregation rules, segmentation, demand drivers, normalization).
- Ensure appropriate master data management of Demand and Portfolio data within Demand/Portfolio planning tools (e.g. Active SKU validation, Delist actions, NPD/NPI Introduction).
- Partake in Portfolio strategies to optimize product mix, drive profitability, and align with market opportunities.
- Facilitate product introductions (NPD/NPI), rationalizations and lifecycle management by engaging in monthly Portfolio Reviews
- Collaborate with Zone Portfolio, Marketing, Revenue, Sales, and Innovations to identify and prioritize new product opportunities, manage discontinuations, and ensure portfolio alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and utilization of zone reporting tools and dashboards.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and executive presentations on key performance metrics (e.g., Forecast Accuracy, Bias, SCOH, Touchless Demand Planning, etc.) and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy, portfolio performance, and value chain efficiency.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of analytical excellence, innovation, and best practice adoption in demand and portfolio management.

Job Purpose
- To work in conjunction with the Business to identify, design and specify applications solutions that meet the Business requirements and achieve the Business benefit; and to facilitate the implementation of identified solutions utilising recognised project management methodologies.
- To provide key support to the business and extract maximum value from the information technology platform, specifically its SAP system, 3rd Party Supply Chain IT Applications & best of bread system.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line SAP & 3rd Party Supply Chain IT Applications support.
- Assist the business to implement new projects and system enhancements. Work closely with 3rd Party Service Providers.
- Execute tasks that are diversified and follow a wide range of complex procedures.
Resolve all operational issues and user queries related to:
- SAP Supply Chain.
- SAP TMS.
- SAP Yard Management.
- Demand Planning.
- Forecast & Replenishment Supply Planning.
- Transport Planning.
- Vehicle Tracking.

Key Responsibilities
SAP End-User Support:
Assist end users to resolve related issues across the Vector business related to the following:
- SAP Supply Chain.
- SAP TMS.
- SAP Yard Management.
- Demand Planning.
- Forecast & Replenishment Supply Planning.
- Transport Planning.
- Vehicle Tracking.
- Electronic Proof of Delivery systems modules and functionality.
- Gate and Yard Management.
- SHEQ Applications.
- Bespoke Applications.
- Resolve calls logged on service management system within agreed SLA.
- Provide clear problem definition and liaise with necessary technical experts/external consultants to resolve technical SAP issues.
- Work in conjunction with learning team and super users to deliver and where required conduct end user training on existing and new business system functionality.
- Create and maintain user training manuals and e-learning material in conjunction with the business (super users) and learning team.
- Conduct user assessments with the business users following training or as required.
- Analyse reports on user knowledge and skills gaps provided by the learning team to identify training needs.
- Work in conjunction with the learning department to roll out ongoing end user training as required.
- Be prepared to travel from time to time as per business operations and project needs.
- Support the business after hours as and when required to maintain systems, meet operational and project requirements.

System Opportunity Identification:
- Support the Applications Manager and the Business in identifying IT application solutions to address key Business requirements within Supply Chain area.
- Quantify savings and efficiencies related to these opportunities and draw up Business Case documentation for submission to the Application Manager.
Drive Continuous Business Improvement initiatives:
- Identifies Continuous Business Improvement opportunities within the business unit / business area.
- Quantifies saving & efficiencies related to these opportunities for submission to the Application Manager.
- Implements enhancements as per business project's function.
- Assist in improving and streamlining business processes and preparing business process documentation.
Application Development, Enhancement, and Implementation:
- Serve as a liaison between the Business and technical consultants to ensure the implementation of identified system enhancements for Supply Chain functions.
- Review and analyze technical specification documents prior to sign off by the Applications Manager and handover to developer(s).
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process with practical experience.
- Execute & play a lead role on Business projects requiring IT systems implementation.
- Meet with relevant Business representatives to establish, understand and document detailed Business requirements to be met by the project.
- Compile and agree a scope definition document as well as functional specification document and ensure that full sign off is achieved prior to implementation.
- Assist with the calculation of the business case and return on investment with relevant business users and stakeholders.
- Prepare the project plan and timelines by engaging all relevant parties.
- Plan for project-related hardware and software requirements by liaising on an on-going basis with the infrastructure & technology team and external software supplier(s).
- Compile and store project documentation (including business process flow charts, technical specifications, end user training material and project plans).
- Ensure constant communication with developers and full testing of the solution and identify and resolve problems or constraints prior to user acceptance testing.
- Work in conjunction and communicate with the Business to implement the system.
- Report on realization of the Business case and identified KPI's.
- Provide post-implementation support to all end-users.
SAP User Profile Maintenance:
- Communicate with authorizations team to assist with creation and maintenance of user profiles in SAP in keeping with risk and audit standards.
- Assist with the user access for new and existing users via the User Authorization Request (UAR) workflow.
- Assist with resolving user profile audit queries.
System Auditing:
- Conduct regular system compliance audits for the Supply Chain systems that fall within the Supply Chain application area of responsibility.
- Report on system non-compliance by users to the Applications Manager.
Identify and highlight business risk to the Applications Manager as a result of non-compliance. - Recommend compensating controls to the Applications Manager.
Reporting:
- Develop appropriate SAP reports & SAP Queries for the SAP Supply Chain modules as requested by the Business.
- Develop appropriate BW and BI reports For the SAP Supply Chain modules as requested by the Business.
- Maintain and proactively enhance reports.
- Run reports, Setup Background Jobs in the system as required by the Business.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide ongoing advice and support on best practice to ensure continuous improvement within Business systems and applications.
- Develop specialist knowledge of the 3rd Party SAP Supply Chain module i.e. SAP Purchase Orders, Route Determination, Deliveries, Shipments.
- Identify opportunities to deliver best value solutions and make recommendations to the Applications Manager.
- Have a system and operational understanding of: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Route Planning, Route Optimization, Transport Planning, Transport Optimization, Transport vehicle Tracking, Electronic Proof of Delivery system, Gate and Yard Management, SHEQ Environment.
- Ability to read SAP ABAP programming and develop SAP Queries.
- Ability to document detailed technical specification for SAP development
- Resolution of system non-compliance.

Overview
We’re looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst - Demand Planning & Forecasting to own and optimize our forecasting engine. You'll turn data into decisions — powering smarter inventory planning, reducing stockouts, and helping us scale with confidence.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex puzzles with data, enjoys building models from scratch, and can communicate insights clearly to cross-functional teams.
Core Responsibilities- Build & Maintain a Dynamic Forecasting Model: Integrate and weight key data sources — including historical sales, customer forecasts, sales velocity, promotional calendars, and sales team insights — to build a reliable demand forecast model.
- Drive Forecast Accuracy Through Iteration: Continuously update your model with the latest inputs. Refine assumptions based on historical trends, seasonality, and cross-functional feedback.
- Translate Data into Action: Deliver timely and actionable forecast reports to our inventory team and manufacturing partners to ensure supply aligns with demand.
- Sales Analytics & Insights: Analyze sales data to support retailer presentations, evaluate promotional ROI, and inform trade program planning.
- Operational Intelligence: Support profitability reviews, vendor invoice audits, and chargeback validations against promotional calendars.
- Advanced Excel Expertise: You’re fluent in complex formulas, modeling, pivot tables, Power Query, and scenario analysis.
- Strong Communication Skills (English): Comfortable presenting insights both in writing and on occasional video calls (EST hours).
- Analytical Judgment: You know when the business needs precision — and when directional estimates are enough to move fast.
- Nice-to-Have Tools & Tech: Experience with ERP systems, dashboarding tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.), or automation via Python, VBA, or similar.
- 30 Days: You’ve built a baseline forecast model and delivered your first inventory and supply report.
- 60-90 Days: Your forecasts are driving real decisions across ops and supply chain — and your insights are influencing strategy.

Role Overview : As Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for Africa’s inventory forecast, analyses, optimization, compliance and budget fulfilment. This role requires close collaboration with our warehouse / store’s personnel at various clients’ sites across Africa and other stakeholders (including supporting our UAE central warehouse).
What you’ll do :
Inventory Forecast & Planning based on fleet profile and consumption for each site.
Ability to perform complex analyses for inventory optimization opportunities identification, including SLOB (Slow-moving and obsolete) stock.
Organize & support quarterly stock counts across all sites. System coordination to enable effective stock levels, MRP and full lead times are considered.
Analyze and improve $ / kVA and inventory turns performance by site / country
Stakeholder communication / collaboration to review critical parts requirements, monitoring inventory levels daily to avoid stock-outs, etc.
Budget and ISO / audit compliance fulfilment.
You’ll have the following skills and experience :
5 years of experience in supply chain management with a deep understanding of inventory, logistics and materials management
Advanced skills in MS Excel will be advantageous (formulas, tables, analyses, etc.)
Ability to identify improvement areas and experience with systems and process changes
A positive can-do attitude, highly motivated individual, committed to delivering results
Willingness to take ownership of problems and drive solutions. A proactive problem-solver, creative thinking and innovative solutions / ideas to complex supply chain challenges
Skilled at relationship building, bringing people together across multiple interfaces and ability to collaborate with stakeholders throughout the supply chain
