ENVIRONMENT: We are seeking a dynamic Supervisory Audit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing new or enhanced supervisory tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, test, and implement new or enhanced supervisory tools.
- Develop and execute a monitoring framework for unit trusts (collective investment schemes and global markets access).
- Manage the people capability to execute on the supervisory and regulatory mandate and strategy.
- Track, monitor, and support performance outcomes for the team.
- Provide and support an Agile and structured approach to work distribution that promotes an inclusive and diverse team work ethic.
- Ensure that the team is compliant with all attributes and competencies that are relevant to the organisation and relevant to the role of the team.
- Develop a framework of process, systems, data for the function that promotes the objectives of the FMA and SRO function to maturity and maintain the framework to ensure relevance.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of fit for purpose supervision and enforcement program, policies, long- and short-range goals, plans, program evaluation, and budget management.
- Provide support for escalated compliance and regulatory matters.
- Ensure queries and escalations are responded to with the required urgency.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the relevant legislation, the FMA, Financial Sector Regulation Act (FSRA), Collective Investment Schemes Act (CIS), Company Rules, and Directives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields such as Finance, Business, Economics, Law and Commerce.
- Minimum 10 years’ post qualification experience, 5 of which must be managerial.
- Minimum 5 years exposure and understanding of Strate’s processes and procedures and experience of the securities industry.

Top Company in Randburg is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant.
Duties & Responsibilities- Management of the creditors, banking, funds, fixed assets, and payroll.
- Assist in annual budgeting and continuous budget control.
- Responsible for issuing accurate and timely monthly financial reports.
- Review monthly Management Accounts and provide variance report.
- Assist with the external and internal audits.
- Check, authorize, and release creditors payments.
- Oversee procurement of fixed assets as per policy.
- Review monthly management accounts to ensure accuracy and provide consolidated variance report.
- Ensure all balance sheet, Payroll, and Income Statement reconciliations are accurate and done on time.
- Responsible for drafting Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manage staff and review performance.
- Ensure all regional income statements are accurate and distributed on time to all managers.
- Responsible for all balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
- Query resolution.
- Adhoc projects as assigned by the General Manager Finance.
- Recognized Accounting qualification.
- 3-5 years working experience, with at least 2 years’ experience at a supervisory level.
- Bookkeeping with full accounting function experience.
- Experience in handling the year-end audit process.
- People management in all aspects.
- Computer literacy - Accounting package (Sage an advantage), Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Payroll related experience is an advantage.
- Be affiliated with either SAICA (SA Institute of Chartered Accountants), CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
- Advanced Excel skills.
