We are seeking a Life Cycle Service Mill Relining Supervisor to join our LCS team. You will be responsible for providing Metso's customers with professional technical support of its products. This position will coordinate and work closely with the Service Business Line Technical Support Teams to assure a common understanding/application of technical support and information to support and provide excellent customer service on Metso Mill relining spare parts.

In this position, you will report to the LCS Mill Relining Contract Manager.

This position is mainly located in Rustenburg, North West.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Supervising a team of re-liners and planning, organizing and controlling the process

Ensure all planning work is communicated to the Team Leaders

Use part list to pick all parts prior to work commence and ensure that Stock counts done

Verify and arrange transport of all parts and components, quantities on site before work commence

Responsible for feedback and corrective action with regards to incorrect or non-conforming parts supplied from

Inform Product Support on any required mill liner changes

Develop Safe Work Procedures for all critical tasks and ensure all personnel are fully conversant with the applicable procedures

Ensure that all required Identifications, risk assessment and analysis of Hazardous products are adhered to

Ensure that all required Safety and Security requirements at the respective mines are adhered to. Safety file responsibility + audits and Legal appointments Metso + MHSA

Ensure that teams report to customers on arrival and before departure to discuss and ensure service reports are signed off (daily)

Ensure that teams adhere strictly to the respective mines lockout and environmental procedures (daily)

Ensure that all Legal books are submitted monthly, and all signatures are in place. Hand in of documents and report to Safety Officer, Plant Engineer

Role Purpose

Requirements

  • A National Senior Certificate is essential

  • Qualified Registered Counsellor, Social Worker or Psychologist

  • Postgraduate qualification would be an advantage for Social Work (Masters)

  • 5-7 Years' experience in the counselling industry as a practitioner

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a management/supervisory position

  • Clinical and managerial/supervisory experience in an EAP Wellness environment would be an advantage

  • Clinical training/facilitation and development experience is advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the quality assurance processes and ensure that trends and failures are used to enhance the internal team and external clients' clinical training and insights.

  • Development and maintenance of clinical protocols and standard operating procedures to align with the quality management system process.

  • Manage the Voice of the Customer and complaints service function, ensuring the highest standards of customer service delivery.

  • Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders around clinical decision making, innovative ad hoc requests and clinical insights on client reporting.

  • Take ownership of the training, coaching, and clinical supervision functions within the care centre, fostering professional growth and ensuring clinical excellence.

  • Lead and support a team of direct reports, driving performance, engagement, and accountability.

  • Act as the primary contact for sensitive client referrals, delivering counselling and coaching services with professionalism, empathy and discretion.

Competencies

  • Strong clinical expertise across diverse psychotherapeutic frameworks and holistic wellness models

  • Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop clinicians in counselling and wellness practices

  • Effective management skills with experience leading teams and driving performance

  • Solid understanding of the Quality Assurance (QA) cycle and its application in clinical settings

  • Skilled in designing, documenting, and implementing operational processes

  • Exceptional presentation and training capabilities for diverse audiences

  • High level of agility, resilience and composure in navigating complex internal and client-facing situations

Reports To: School Operations Coordinator

Position Purpose:

SPARK Schools supervisors drive student achievement by overseeing the culture and effectiveness of lunch, break, and aftercare. SPARK Schools supervisors care for classes of students during lunch, break, and aftercare to ensure student achievement, health, and safety.

Supervisors are integral to the SPARK Schools "culture" and our commitment to rigorous, engaging learning experiences for our scholars.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise lunch and break during the instructional day.
  • Ensure SPARK's healthy food scheme is enforced with scholars by checking lunches.
  • Use SPARK culture and behaviour management strategies.
  • Supervise a class of students during aftercare, including homework completion if needed, play, and structured activities.
  • Plan engaging enrichment experiences for students for the lengthened aftercare on Monday afternoons.
  • Ensure all aftercare resources are used responsibly and effectively.
  • Communicate professionally with parents and line managers about incidents, conflicts, or concerns that occur during aftercare.
  • Communicate and collaborate with school leaders and staff as required.Ensure safety of all scholars during aftercare, including following network-wide procedures to scholar dismissal and late pick-up.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks, such as facilitating in the Learning Lab, covering for absent staff or setting up for events.
  • Participate actively in staff development opportunities as a member of the SPARK Schools team.
  • Conduct self in a professional manner at all SPARK Schools events and to all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Criteria:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/criteria:

  • English language fluency.
  • Previous experience managing or working with primary school-aged children
  • Clear criminal record
  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Studying towards a First Year B.Ed Degree Preferred
