Job Description
Design Dynasty is looking for a motivated Business Development / Lead Generation Intern to support client acquisition and digital marketing efforts. This is a 3-month remote internship designed for junior candidates eager to build knowledge in business development, lead generation, and online advertising.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential client opportunities using LinkedIn, Google, and business directories.
- Build and maintain prospect lists; perform outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls.
- Assist with launching and monitoring basic online ad campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads).
- Support digital marketing initiatives by creating outreach content, tracking engagement, and analyzing results.

- Negotiate business terms and conditions.
- Provide systems solutions.
- Create content & conduct presentations to promote business and sales, both online and in person.
- Facilitate product support, training, and service delivery.
- Provide and follow up on admin (quotes, invoices, delivery schedules etc.)
- Liaise daily with clients.
- Data maintenance/capturing into CRM System.

- Attend to and process tenders.
- Daily report and feedback to sales manager.
- Meet customers online and face to face to develop and improve business.
- Strategize, motivate, attend shows, & train customers on all relevant products.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of business development sales, or market expansion experience, preferably with a focus on the African continent.
- Min 2 years proven sales; provide evidence e.g.: targets, new business, client relationship development into Africa.
- Some knowledge of:
- Industrial Automation IT industry and related infrastructure solutions.
- Smart grid applications, such as renewable energy, substation transition, and distribution.
- PoE based solutions and how to implement them.
- Vertical market development experience e.g.: IT, Power, Rail, Mining, Marine, Security, Solar, Wind, and Water.
- Experienced in tenders, export, engineering processes and documentation to facilitate business and sales.
- The ability to research and develop B2B relationships.
- Experienced in business travels in Africa.
- Valid Drivers License. Own reliable vehicle.
- French &/ or Portuguese (advantage)
- Diploma or N+ Course (advantage)
- Background in Computer/IT/Network engineering in the industrialised sector
- Procurements utilising software (SAP an advantage)
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office, reporting.
- Service driven.
- Knowledge of developing and existing markets and the ability to secure business.
