Job Purpose
The sales representative is expected to build strong customer relationships, identify new market opportunities and stay updated on product and industry trends. The purpose is to drive retails by promoting, selling and supporting customers in assigned area, to achieve monthly and annual targets, as well as area market share growth of Case Construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach and frequently visit existing and potential customers
- Present and demonstrate construction equipment and integrated package solutions
- Market and assist customers with finance deal options and structures
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets to increase assigned area market share
- Provide accurate forecasting in accordance with market segment trends and target market share
- Understand and explain financing options, interest rates, instalment plans (and other relevant financing requirements) to customers
- Build & Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Provide sales support and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
- Continuously ensure a professional and effective service delivery to customers
- Stay updated on the latest construction equipment usage, features and benefits
- Stay updated with the latest trends on technology
- Prepare quotations and proposals using Costing Schedules, Templates and Microsoft Office programs
- Load and maintain customer calls and visits detail on weekly Call Reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Experience Required
- 3-5 years proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in Construction Equipment
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proven Construction & Technical knowledge; understanding of machinery and attachments (machinery minimum requirement)
- Experience working with compact and heavy line construction equipment will be advantageous
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with construction equipment fleet owners
- Sales or Technical Customer Support Experience
- Working on SAP and or other similar system
- Experience with a Customer Relations Management program
Preferred Qualifications
Matric / Grade 12 (With minimum required experience)
Sales or Marketing Diploma or Degree

The Sales Representative (SR) function is to increase product sales and placement at all large & small format stores. The primary role of the SR is to effectively service all customers in a safe, productive and professional manner to NUTRITECH executional standards.
These are establishments where someone would buy, taste and/or consume a NUTRITECH product, including independent retailers, pharmacies, chain stores and training facilities.
