We’re seeking a passionate and self-motivated SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join our awesome sales team to help us drive our business success by increasing sales in the area. Your main goal will be to turn leads and prospects into paid users by selling the products that our clients (and their customers) have grown to rely on.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES REP.
- Identify prospects and leads.
- Make sales.
- Make appointments to meet clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Understand our clients’ needs, wants and resolve queries to promote customer experience.
- Advise customers on specials, new products, price changes.
- Learn technical details about our products to explain alternative uses and applications.
- Process orders and credits and follow through.
- Keep merchandising material up to date.
- Prepare and present weekly reports.
- Attend sales educational training, events and expos.
- Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices.
QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR
If you understand the sales process and have a passion for selling, chasing targets, ability to convert leads into sales, building relationships, closing deals, have strong negotiating skills and the ability to showcase our products in a compelling way, then this role is for you.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Sales Rep.
- Power tool & accessories knowledge is an advantage.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Great interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
- Ability to effectively plan your day and prioritize your duties.
QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
- A tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing or studying towards one will be an advantage.
OTHER
- Proficient driving experience with a valid driver's license.
- Must live in Polokwane or in close proximity.
- Willing to travel.

We are looking for a high-performing Technical Sales Representative (TSR) in the Mokopane area with an Agronomy/Agriculture background or experience. The TSR will be responsible for the sales and marketing of plant nutrition solutions to current and potential clients in the specific area of responsibility.
The TSR will need to understand the needs of the crop in the area and develop more effective and efficient farming practices by conducting research, taking, and testing samples, and solving complex agricultural problems using the unique product solutions the client researched and developed over the past 60 years.
The TSR will work closely with the client/farmer to provide ongoing support to develop better farming conditions and long-term working relationships.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grow a new or established territory of clients and manage, secure, and maintain relationships with the client/farmer.
- Achieve targets as set out by management.
- Outline and achieve distribution and growth objectives/sales goals within a specific geographic area through effective management.
- Introduce innovative solutions, promote improved distribution, and provide client-beneficial reports.
