- Technical Expertise : Hands-on experience with statistical process control, Lean Manufacturing, and quality auditing.
- Problem-Solving & Process Improvement : Skilled in RCA, CAPA, and troubleshooting production defects.

- Maintain Customer KPI regarding QPR, PPM, SSN, Downtime & Warranty(White scorecard).
- Respond quickly and efficiently to Customer quality problems found in the Plant, Purchase and Customer, take containment measures immediately, and follow up to solve them(Focus Boards, A3, FRP and SCARs).
- Ensure TQM boards are updated daily, and monthly data is captured and displayed accurately and up to date.
- Analyse TQM data to identify priority areas to reduce defects(A3, Focus Boards, FRP, Asakai)
- Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports Internal (Scrap rate), Customer (SDS), Supplier (SCARS) and head office (QPR, PPM, Warranty & Downtime status)
- Utilise Quality Tools like, (FRP/A3/APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA/FMEA/MQC/Focus Boards/SCARs/Capability).
- Ensure all IMTE is fit for use, replaced and calibrated as per schedule.
- Formulate incoming product inspection documents and conducted on the job training and assessment for receiving inspection team.
- Support Parts and Process approval submission according to milestones and release it accurately to Production at SOP.
- Solve supplier quality issues and ensure the effective implementation of corresponding quality control measures to prevent defect outflow to us and in turn to our customer.
- Controls the inspection and testing of the products/services being procured where required.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and problems of supplier quality, track and urge the completion of corresponding and constant improvement as well as enhance the supplier's product quality and process capability.
- Collect and summarise the performance of each supplier and improve the product quality and process capability of the supplier(Customer Scorecards).
- Support external / internal suppliers to ensure product quality is achieved prior to delivery according to APQP / Customer requirements / VDA6.3 / IATF16949
- Familiar with IATF16949 quality system standard. Familiar with related products and processes.
- Understand the process approach and have a problem-solving mindset.
- Enforce company and HR policies. Conduct and evaluate OJT, performance manage subordinates.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Background: National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Quality preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering in the automotive component manufacturing industry(press, forming, coating).
- Qualified VDA 6.3 Process Auditor(Advantageous)
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in Quality Tools APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, ISHIKAWA, 5WHY, Control Plan, IMTE, Calibration, Drawings, Specifications, etc.
- Understanding of GD & T. Use of measuring equipment. Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Familiar with related products and processes is preferred with automotive components.
- Initiative, be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to all levels. Good technical problem-solving ability.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex components/systems/processes/machines.
