We are seeking a Senior Power BI Specialist with over 10 years of experience in BI and analytics to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports for enterprise clients.
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, insightful data visualizations.
- Manage data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations.
- Ensure BI solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to ensure accuracy and usability of reports.
- Provide best practices, governance, and training for Power BI adoption across the organization.

Requirements

- Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and enterprise reporting standards.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex data for executive reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Power BI Data Analyst certification.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, or Microsoft Fabric.

- Strong Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query/M, Desktop & Service, scheduled refresh, RLS).
- Solid SQL or KQL (and readiness to work extensively in Azure Data Explorer ).
- Proven experience automating scheduled reporting and replacing manual processes.
- Excellent communication, training and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with Azure services (e.g., ADX/ADE, Data Gateway, DevOps/Git).
- Background in operations/mining or heavy industry analytics.
- Change management exposure (adoption, documentation, training plans).
Responsibilities
- Role objective : Replace manual extraction/transformation routines with scheduled, automated reporting on a dynamic BI platform.
- Environment: Azure Data Explorer (Kusto) in Azure; Power BI (Desktop & Service).
- Build scalable Power BI datasets and reports; establish scheduled refresh and dataflows/pipelines
