**Job Description**
We are seeking a **Senior Engineer - Marine Structural** to support the design and assessment of coastal and offshore infrastructure, including wharves, jetties, caissons, breakwaters, and floating structures. This role will focus on structural design under complex loading conditions-wave, current, berthing, seismic-and will require coordination with geotechnical, coastal, and marine disciplines.
**Here is what you will do:**
+ Lead structural design of marine infrastructure using relevant codes (e.g. BS, Eurocode, API, PIANC)
+ Perform static and dynamic structural analysis, including wave and berthing impact loads
+ Evaluate corrosion protection, fatigue performance, and structural detailing for marine environments
+ Coordinate with geotechnical engineers on foundation design (piles, caissons, gravity structures)
+ Prepare design reports, specifications, and construction documentation
+ Support tendering, fabrication review, and site construction queries
+ Develop and implement quality assurance procedures for marine structural designs
+ Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex marine projects
+ Collaborate with environmental specialists to ensure designs meet sustainability requirements
+ Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for marine structures
+ Participate in client meetings and present technical solutions
+ Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in marine structural engineering
**Here's what we're looking for:**
+ At least 10 years' experience post obtaining qualification.
+ Professionally registered with ECSA as Pr.Eng. for at least 3 years.
**Qualifications**
+ Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural), preferably M.Eng or MSc.Eng.
