● Call and message fresh leads and lapsed shippers, logging every touchpoint in the CRM.
● Gather full trip specs-commodity, lane, volume, equipment, and special loading or tracking needs—for precise quoting.
● Build lane rates from market intel and transporter quotes, send sharp proposals, and negotiate margins to win the load.
● Secure a compliant transporter, double-check licences and GIT cover, and issue a clear load confirmation to lock in capacity.
● Brief drivers on SOPs such as corner plates, straps, seals, and TAT rules, then activate live tracking for each trip.
● Monitor ETAs in real time, resolve route exceptions before they escalate, and keep shippers updated without being asked.
● Upsell new lanes, request referrals, and convert first-time shippers into loyal, recurring revenue.
● Update CRM/TMS and review BI dashboards for margin drift, carrier trends, and performance insights, then act on the data.
● Plan tomorrow’s prospecting targets and flag any overnight watch-loads before signing off.
