My client is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize air and sea freight operations while supporting strategic decisions and managing a high-performing team.

As a Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the following :

  • Manage full-cycle international logistics operations (air & sea imports & exports).
  • Compile interpret and present analytical reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Drive automation and system improvements using ERP tools (Power BI and AI systems).
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations duties tariffs and freight requirements.
  • Lead client liaison manage queries and build strong lasting relationships.

What Do You Need
  • BCom or Diploma in Logistics Supply Chain or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a logistics management role with proven staff management experience.
  • Background in freight forwarding (air and sea) is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems especially Power BI and emerging AI technologies .
  • Strong understanding of international compliance customs duties and freight regulations.

Purpose of the role :

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee the end-to-end logistics and supply

chain operations for our cement warehousing and bricks / blocks manufacturing business. The successful candidate

    Qualifications Matric A logistics or supply chain qualification. Requirements 2 years proven experience in similar warehouse management/supervisory role Proven experience within a warehouse operations environment. Experience with food packaging is Proven experience / capability in performing warehouse operational functions, processes, and activities. Proven customer service skills within dispatch and service Proven 3rd party vendor and courier management skills in a logistics environment Experience with WMS, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office is essential.
