- Structure and optimize the financial performance of the company, including its reporting, cash-flow management, and return on investments.

Main responsibilities
Logistics Planning and Optimization
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to support the company's supply chain and distribution needs for Lesaffre South Africa, Aries Baking Supplies, and Bakelab

Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Vendor and Carrier Management
- Evaluate and select reliable logistics service providers, such as carriers, freight forwarders, and warehousing partners
- Negotiate favorable rates and terms with vendors and carriers, and manage ongoing relationships

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Clients Contract Logistics operations. This includes the managing and ordering of inventory, forecasting, coordinating the movement of goods from Client to Region, management and monitoring of overall stock accuracy as well as Vehicle stock accuracy, handling shipping and receiving, overseeing monthly and quarterly Audits, Weekly and Monthly Reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant processes, governance, regulations, standards, and risk mitigation. The Logistics Manager will work closely with Internal Regional teams as well as other departments, such as Operations County Leads, Materials Management, and Procurement, to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)- Develop and implement logistics strategies to support company goals and objectives.
- Manage and optimize transportation and distribution network timelines.

Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
Proficient with logistics software and systems.
Experience in the Telecommunications Industry.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
Technical/Core Training: Practical knowledge of Supply Chain; Basic Technical Telecommunications knowledge.
IT Training: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level), SAP knowledge, Inventory Management.
Licenses:
