Detailed Roles & Responsibilities
1. Supplier Relationship Management
· Cultivate and strategically manage relationships with local and international suppliers across procurement categories: Direct Materials, Indirect Materials, Capital Expenditure (CAPEX), and Services.
· Drive supplier innovation, embedding best practices within Kwikot (Haier)'s operational framework.
· Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to optimize commercial and operational outcomes.
· Ensure rigorous compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
· Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Operations, Research & Development, Finance, Engineering, and Production to align procurement strategies with organizational objectives.
· Act as the primary liaison between procurement and operational teams, proactively challenging traditional methods to facilitate optimal results.
3. Strategic Procurement & Planning
· Develop and execute comprehensive annual procurement strategies, targeting quality, cost management, strategic renegotiations, and operational efficiency.
· Prepare and present sourcing strategies for executive approval, executing them meticulously.
· Lead rigorous cost and variance analyses, presenting insightful reporting to support strategic decisions.
· Champion a forward-looking approach by anticipating market trends, leveraging new technologies, and actively shaping procurement roadmaps that align with organizational growth.
4. Supplier Evaluation & Development
· Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
· Lead supplier development initiatives that bolster sustainability, reliability, quality, and innovation.
5. Financial & Operational Target Management
·Deliver on financial and operational targets, including cost savings, advantageous payment terms, inventory optimization, and effective contracting.
· Drive improvements in supplier quality metrics, reduce Supplier Corrective Rates (SCR) and parts per million (ppm) defect rates.
· Lead procurement-driven optimization and cost-avoidance initiatives.
6. Demand, Forecasting & Supply Chain Optimizations
· Manage accurate demand forecasting (including S&OP), robust materials planning, and expedited procurement processes to sustain seamless production workflows.
· Improve planning accuracy through performance tracking and collaboration.
· Continuously optimize Net Operating Working Capital (NOWC) to improve financial efficiency.
7. Data Analysis & AI Utilization
· Leverage data analytics and AI-driven platforms (Power BI, SQL, advanced Excel) to analyze and improve supply chain performance.
· Utilize data-driven insights to refine procurement practices, supplier costs, elevate forecasting accuracy, and enhance decision-making processes
8. Risk Management
· Identify and mitigate risks across the supply base.
· Establish robust contingency plans.
9. Compliance, Governance & Administration
· Ensure rigorous governance while maintaining speed, agility and responsiveness.
· Ensure ethical sourcing, regulatory compliance, and corporate controls.
· Manage reporting, dashboards, audit readiness, and accurate documentation.
· Collaborate with auditors (internal and external), address audit requests promptly, and implement corrective actions.

Responsible for managing and organizing stock levels for TN&H, Cosmetic Ingredients and Fragrances at Isando, South Africa
Oversee the supply and demand of raw materials and products

Job Description
- Lead and manage the PDC team in accordance with MAN values to ensure high engagement and motivation.
- Must be proactive on Customer Communication management, providing reliable feedback to customers.
- Ensure management of Inventory to maximise parts availability at optimal stock holding costs.
- Ensure management of inbound processes in the warehouse including Goods Received & Binning of stock.
- Manage outbound processes for picking, consolidation, weighing & dispatching of stock.
- Ensure management of quality processes for perpetual counts, quantity and quality checks and RFC.
- Manage inbound transport suppliers to ensure on time and efficient delivery to the PDC.
- Manage the outbound transport suppliers to facilitate optimum and on time delivery and customers.
- Ensure financial management for tracking PDC costs and verifying invoices against tender rates.
- Ensuring optimisation of the costs including recycling and manufacturing of pallets.
- Manage the facility including repairs and maintenance based on PDC requirements.
- Implement and manage improvement measures to facilitate efficiencies in PDC processes and systems.
- Ensure Warehouse planning process optimisation, productivity improvement, packaging & MHE management.
Qualifications:
- Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
- Bachelor's degree (Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management).
Skills:
- Analytical and strategic skills to identify problems thereafter solve them.
- Leadership and organisational skills.
- Must have the ability to mediate conflict.
- Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
- High level communication, interpersonal relations and negotiation skills.
