The Instructional Designer is responsible for the design of all variety of instructional materials for traditional instructor-led courses, online programs, web- based learning aids or products, and other programs as needed.

What You’ll Do For The Brand:
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
- Develop materials for courses based on information provided by subject matter experts, department heads and trainers to create the best coursework possible.
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product.
- Create realistic objectives for learning or performance for students and instructors.
- Redesign courses for online presentation that are conducive to distance learning programs while still adhering to academic goals of the institution.
- Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts.
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods.
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc).
- Recommend changes to existing courses, including technology or instructional methods, to better adhere to delivery options and accessibility for the course.
- Analyze courses to ensure they meet or exceed the organisational standards and provide reports for accreditation reviews.
- Adapt coursework to assist learners with disabilities so that they can experience the same learning opportunities as others.
- Remain aware of all emerging instructional technologies and make recommendations about when to adopt certain systems to continue to offer the best learning experience possible.
- Maintain project documentation and course folders.
- Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs.
- Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them.
- Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
