Our client is looking for a talented Network Engineer who will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot network issues, and implement best practices to optimise network performance and security.

What you’ll do:

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
• Configure and install various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Monitor network performance, analyse network traffic, and optimize network infrastructure.

• Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system enhancements to optimize network security and performance.

Your expertise:

• 3+ years proven work experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in network administration.

• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases, and virtualisation.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Level 2 Network Engineer to support and maintain our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will handle escalated technical issues, perform network monitoring and troubleshooting, and assist in implementing network upgrades and changes.

• Stronger technical networking experience with in-depth skills in LAN/WAN and MPLS environments and hands-on experience in overall day to day network troubleshooting.
• Provide second-level technical support for network-related incidents and requests escalated from Level 1 support.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems with routers, switches, firewalls and other network infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN, wireless and VPN connectivity issues.
• Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and change management records.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Specialist to join our team, with proven expertise in network design, administration, and architecture.  The role requires strong technical proficiency in access networking technologies, routers, firewalls. Excellent communication and customer interaction abilities are required, alongside strong collaboration skills to support teamwork and achieve shared goals. The position also requires physical capability for tasks such as hardware installation and the ability to travel with a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

What you'll do:

• Solid background in network design, administration, implementation and architecture.
• Familiarity with access control models and network security.
• Evaluate designs to determine the most efficient and effective solution.
• Experience in selecting, design engineering, solution engineering, project engineering, integrating, and implementing multi-vendor network architecture and related technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of access networking technologies, routers firewalls, VPN, ZTNA, and SDWAN solutions, Quality of Service, subnetting, etc.
• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless (able to build configurations and solutions that conform to standards without guidance).
• Demonstrated skills in developing a technology plan including technical strategy and direction as well as the related business case for the use of that technology.
• Essential skills include expertise in network protocols, security best practices, and problem-solving. 
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
• Identifying and resolving network connectivity issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. 
• Strong root cause analyses and report writing.  
• Strong routing protocol knowledge especially BGP.
• PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 knowledge. 
• Python and scripting experience.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts.

Your Expertise:

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in network device configuration and troubleshooting
• English - Can converse and has the necessary email skills
• Excellent Customer Interaction with clear, concise, and effective communication skills
• Effectively collaborate with the team to achieve common goals
• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

Qualifications:

• National Senior Certificate/ Matric/ N3/ Grade 12

The successful candidate for the Aderant Administrator (Financial System) will be responsible for the management and end-user support of the firm’s legal financial system Aderant.

• Management of the financial management system Aderant.
• Managing the Aderant service provider in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Provide end-user support on Aderant system and escalate to Aderant service provider, if necessary, in accordance with internal requirements.
• Maintain and develop standard operating procedures for Aderant users. Document processes and policies related to the system and work with the Training department on training materials and revising and updating where new features or gaps are identified.
• Monitor and manage integration with other systems (e.g., Inprotech, Power BI, Sage, iManage) in collaboration with the IT Department.
• Ensure scheduled jobs complete successfully and troubleshoot as needed.
• Perform daily reviews of systems interfaces and investigation/resolution of any issues.
• Maintain Aderant user security, access and administration.
• Maintain and develop reports using Aderant’s reporting tools. Provide data for special requests.
• Learn the structure and data of the Aderant system, assess the impact and report to Operations Management on any proposed Aderant system upgrades or new product offerings, and manage the implementation thereof. Oversee, design, track, and safely introduce modifications/upgrades to the systems, in accordance with the internal PMO framework
• Update, modify, test, and/or repair existing Aderant system and propose innovative solutions to problems.

• As required initiate, obtain approval and manage projects that may arise regarding Aderant and its accompanying systems, as per the PMO framework
• Lead and manage projects and the system development life cycle; review, clarify, and/or test deliverables prepared in conjunction with the IT Dept and/or Finance dept before providing the final product to stakeholders.
• Obtaining and maintaining new technical and analytical skills as required.
• Assisting with supporting additional IT systems such as the firm’s document management system (iManage) when capacity permits.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience supporting and customizing financial systems or relevant experience with practice management systems
• Degree in Business Administration will be advantageous
• Microsoft SQL, SSRS, and scripting language qualifications will serve as an advantage.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, project management tools, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Familiarity with SQL and report writing tools is preferred.
• Understanding of and experience with Aderant is preferred
• Strong expertise in financial systems. Competency in accounting principles, financial analysis, and common accounting terminology.
• Able to quickly grasp business requirements and expectations
