Teachers receive extensive training on EF’s sophisticated, yet easy-to-use online classroom, and are also able to participate in ongoing professional development programs. Lesson materials are created by our academic team, so you can focus your energy on connecting personally with each student you meet in our group and private lessons. You’ll get great experience working in an international company while helping our adult learners from over 120 countries meet their personal and professional goals of learning English!
Responsibilities- Conduct 20- to 45-minute conversation-based group and private online lessons with adult learners.
- Provide after-class reports to all students, detailing their progress and ongoing recommendations for improvement.
- Correct student essay submissions via our online tools.
- Attend ongoing training, which is an essential requirement in EF’s superior teaching products.
- With more experience, create your own custom lesson material.
The Employee will be required to work on rostered days and hours dependent on the 24/7 operational requirements of the company. The company will schedule specific days and times per week, Mondays to Sundays, as per the agreed shift which may change to different times of the day and will be communicated in writing. Normal hours of work will not exceed 45 hours per week and flexibility will be required based on business needs.
Current Shift on Offer: 4 day, 10 hour shift based on shift availability.

Old Parks Sports Club is one of the oldest and renowned sports club in Johannesburg providing a sports and social environment for over 1000 members and visitors. We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Senior Bookkeeper to join our team on a full- time basis.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and Club Director, and be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, the management of all accounts and any other club duties as directed.
Some of the duties will include the following:
- Full bookkeeping functions including Debtors and Creditors, multiple Cashbooks, Inter Company Accounts, Accruals and Pre-Payments.
- Month-End Reporting.
- Sport Sections Financial Management.
- Attendance at Sports Sections Meetings.
- Membership Subscription Management.
- Debt Collection.
- Payroll Management including overtime, leave, deductions and pension fund management
- Budgets, Forecasting and Trend Assessments
- Daily POS Reconciliation and Financial Control.
- Year-End preparation and liaising with the Club's Auditor.
- Preparing Statutory Returns.
- Management of control accounts, including but not limited to bar stock.
- Regular communication with various sports sections and management of any financial queries.
- Liaise and prepare reports for the Club Director and Government Departments as required.
- Attend selected Management Meetings and all Club and Section AGMs.
- General admin and filing.
Ideal Qualifications (not exclusionary):
- Relevant certification or diploma in Accounting.
- Min 5yrs years bookkeeping experience and preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Paster Partner, Pastel Payroll and Sage Online.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
