About the Role
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day front desk operations. Your professionalism, efficiency, and warm personality will help create a welcoming environment that keeps our guests coming back.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional attitude
- Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Handle bookings, reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiries (via email and in person)
- Process payments and issue invoices
- Provide information about local attractions, transport, and hotel facilities
- Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction
- Maintain guest records and ensure data is updated accurately
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist in administrative and front office support as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or similar customer-facing role (preferably in hospitality)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and booking/reservation systems (e.g. NightsBridge, Opera, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Presentable, punctual, and reliable
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Must have the legal right to work in South Africa
