Role Summary

JDJ Diagnostic Laboratory is seeking a qualified and passionate Registered Nurse with midwifery to support clinical integration and patient care within our diagnostic services Practitioner, the incumbent will enhance the continuum of care by liaising between patient management and laboratory diagnostics, in strict alignment with ISO 15189:2022 standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient interviews, basic physical assessments, and documentation for lab-related procedures
  • Collaborate with lab personnel on diagnostic interpretation and clinical escalation
  • Ensure specimen integrity through accurate patient identification and proper collection protocols
  • Provide patient education and post-diagnostic counselling
  • Assist in incident reporting and corrective action tracking under Quality Management Systems
  • Participate in internal audits, SOP reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of Pap smears will be an advantage.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP)
  • Registered with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
  • 13 years clinical experience preferred (laboratory exposure advantageous)
  • Proficiency in documenting clinical and diagnostic information to ISO 15189:2022 standards

Impilo Laboratories is looking for a Staff nurse ,Must have all Documents in Order and registered with SANC or HPCSA is a must.

Must be able to manage under pressure , have experience with IV , Injections , PAP Smears and Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and excelent time keeping .

Must have knowledge of using a computer and basic phone skills , along with basic trouble shooting. This post is night duty .
