**Job Description**
AECOM is actively seeking an experienced **Environmental Engineer - Remediation** to support remediation system operations, soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in remediation system management or oversight of operations, maintenance, and monitoring, and some system design. In addition, the candidate will have experience in data management and technical report production.
The position requires strong multi-discipline technical and interpersonal skills and the ability to work productively both independently and collaboratively with engineers and scientists on a variety of remediation projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical for this role.
**Here's what you will do:**
+ Evaluation of remediation data and treatment performance.
+ Development of operation and maintenance plans.
+ Analyze data and prepare and review engineering related reports, plans, calculations, drawings, figures, and specifications using accepted engineering practices and procedures.
+ Modeling and analysis of subsurface conditions and remediation performance.
+ Assist with remedial technology design.
+ Assist with planning environmental field work, including pre-design investigations, remediation systems operations, maintenance, and monitoring, groundwater sampling, and fluid level gauging.
+ Operations tasks include budgeting, schedule and scope development and tracking.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Science, or closely related field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
+ 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting·
+ Master's Degree is a plus
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)·
+ Experience with environmental data management systems (e.g., EQuIS, Locus EIM, ESdat, EDS, or equivalent platforms)·

ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
- Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS's), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
- Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
- Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
- Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with health & safety regulations).

WSP Africa's Power & Energy team is looking for a **Senior Structural Lines Engineer - Transmission Lines** to support the delivery of major transmission infrastructure projects across South Africa, the United Kingdom and international markets.
In this role, you will be responsible for the structural design and analysis of overhead transmission line structures, including steel lattice towers and monopoles, supporting projects ranging from 33kV to 400kV. You will contribute to both South African and UK-based transmission projects while ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will collaborate with civil, electrical and geotechnical specialists to develop innovative and practical engineering solutions that support grid expansion, renewable energy integration and network reliability.
**Responsibilities**

+ Deliver designs in accordance with South African and international standards including Eskom, SANS, IEC 60826, BS EN 50341 and Eurocodes.
