ERP systems are at the heart of the digital environment that supports the operational and financial business of our clients. ERP systems typically support the majority of key business processes, resulting in a complex IT landscape that is of increasing importance to the financial statements and statutory audit. In addition, outsourcing functions to a third party introduces certain risks for service organizations. It is critical that service organizations communicate information about their risk management and internal controls to their third parties.

Job Description

You will lead the team by performing interviews, guiding (senior) consultants, and be the main contact person for the client. For IT Audit and Third Party Assurance (e.g. ISAE, SOC) projects you will test design, implementation and operating effectiveness for relevant controls in the system. In your report you will give your client good, solid advice that matches the risks of the organization, the people and their work ethic. Related projects can be very diverse and vary from small scale engagements to long-term IT Audits for the annual statement and Third Party Assurance (e.g. ISAE, SOC) projects.

You will get the opportunity to work both on audit and advisory assignments to provide you with different experiences and learning opportunities. Your responsibilities will increase fast as the learning curve is steep.

Qualifications

Minimum qualification

  • A completed Masters/Bachelors degree

Experience & Skills

  • You have 6 - 8 years of relevant work experience; the ideal candidate has experience in IT Risk management or transformation, IT Assurance and/or Audit role;
  • Passion for advising clients in the area of IT risk management;
  • Managing, leading and supporting lower level staff;
  • Actively contributes to building the talent pipeline; creates a talent experience that attracts, develops and retains top talent and high performing teams;
  • Enterprising with good communication skills;
  • Fluent in writing and speaking English (Dutch not a must, but a great advantage);
  • You are result-oriented, stress resistant and can motivate a team;
  • Experience with SAP GRC,
  • S/4HANA and/or other SAP solutions is an advantage;
  • You work well in a team and know how to manage your time and work.

Role Description

Are you passionate about Sustainability and looking to make an impact? We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant Sustainability with a focus on ESG assurance to leverage your sustainability reporting expertise in an assurance role and help clients advance their ESG reporting maturity. Strong knowledge of ESG reporting regulations and assurance standards is required, along with the ability to bring innovative ideas and practical solutions to clients.

You will be responsible for the following:

SUMMARY:

A reputable and growing business is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant , with strong tax experience, to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full accounting function, tax compliance, and supporting the business with accurate financial reporting and analysis. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting, paired with a deep understanding of tax legislation and requirements, who is eager to grow in a fast-paced and professional environment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
  • Handle VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions
  • Prepare and submit corporate income tax returns (ITR14)
  • Assist with tax planning and ensure compliance with current tax legislation
  • Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations
  • Prepare audit packs and liaise with external Auditors during audits
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
  • Assist with SARS correspondence and tax queries
  • Ensure that all financial and tax records are maintained in compliance with the relevant regulations
  • Provide support on ad hoc finance and tax projects as needed

Requirements:

  • BCom Accounting or similar qualification (SAIPA/SAICA articles advantageous)
  • Minimum 3–5 years accounting experience with a strong focus on tax
  • Solid knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations
  • Experience preparing and submitting SARS tax returns
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, CaseWare, or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
  • Deadline-driven, with good problem-solving skills and initiative

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with trusts or group structures
  • Working knowledge of eFiling and related SARS platforms
  • Exposure to IFRS or IFRS for SMEs

In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to a team of Independent Financial Advisers, helping them deliver outstanding service to clients and manage their day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Administration Support: Preparing for client meetings, maintaining client records, booking appointments, and supporting post-meeting activities.

New Business Applications: Processing new business applications, communicating with clients and providers, and ensuring smooth administration of client portfolios.

Documentation & Reports: Assisting with preparing client suitability reports, meeting packs, and other relevant documentation.

Recordkeeping & Compliance: Managing accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

General Administrative Support: Managing diary schedules, processing post, and maintaining an organised and efficient administrative workflow.

Experience required:

Background: Ideally, you will have experience in financial services, pension or investment administration.

Qualifications: Financial Services-related qualifications are desirable, but not essential.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.

Experience in a customer-focused administrative role, with the ability to confidently liaise with internal teams and external parties.

Leadership and Direction

Compliance

General Education

General Experience
