    Purpose of the Job:

    The Talent Acquisition Senior Consultant role will be responsible for the acquisition of key talent across multiple disciplines, locations, and on all levels.     • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners across different offering portfolios and enablement areas as an advisor to understand specific recruitment requirements and build talent sourcing strategies to meet these requirements, whilst ensuring relevant due diligence at the start of a recruitment process.
    • Actively source candidates for key critical and scarce skill roles through various channels such as job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and professional networks to identify qualified individuals who align with the firm’s values and goals
    • Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit for the various business areas
    • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Lead the offer process by working closely with hiring managers to craft competitive offers aligned with company standards, ensure recommendations are secured and lead the negotiation and acceptance process ensuring a positive and smooth candidate experience.
    • Manage the flow of candidates and vacancies within the ATS to optimize the recruitment process and maintain data integrity.
    • Actively promote diversity and inclusion within the hiring process, collaborating with the hiring team to ensure that recruitment practices are equitable and unbiased.
    • Manage key candidate talent pools and generate long-term interest by building sustainable relationships and providing a positive candidate experience, through regular communication and accurate candidate maintenance.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging talent to inform recruitment initiatives.
    • Collaborate with HR for the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
    • Meet minimum required recruitment metrics (such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, and reducing agency spend) by continuously monitoring and tracking progress and taking corrective action where required.
    • Ensure accountability for quality, accuracy, and relevance of own work. This includes Hiring documentation management, data integrity.
    • Collaborate in the organisation and participation of employer branding events (career fairs, campus recruitment drives, webinars, and industry conferences etc.) to highlight the Firm’s culture, values, and career opportunities, to attract top talent and create a positive employer brand image
    • Collaborate and support Talent Acquisition or firm wide projects and initiatives, whilst recommending opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and policies.

A reputable and growing business is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant , with strong tax experience, to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full accounting function, tax compliance, and supporting the business with accurate financial reporting and analysis. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting, paired with a deep understanding of tax legislation and requirements, who is eager to grow in a fast-paced and professional environment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
  • Handle VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions
  • Prepare and submit corporate income tax returns (ITR14)
  • Assist with tax planning and ensure compliance with current tax legislation
  • Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations
  • Prepare audit packs and liaise with external Auditors during audits
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
  • Assist with SARS correspondence and tax queries
  • Ensure that all financial and tax records are maintained in compliance with the relevant regulations
  • Provide support on ad hoc finance and tax projects as needed

Requirements:

  • BCom Accounting or similar qualification (SAIPA/SAICA articles advantageous)
  • Minimum 3–5 years accounting experience with a strong focus on tax
  • Solid knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations
  • Experience preparing and submitting SARS tax returns
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, CaseWare, or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
  • Deadline-driven, with good problem-solving skills and initiative

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with trusts or group structures
  • Working knowledge of eFiling and related SARS platforms
  • Exposure to IFRS or IFRS for SMEs
