This responsibility requires understanding of Salesforces data model, data management tools as they relate to Salesforce, and operational reporting needs.
Responsible for tactically managing, correcting, and enhancing the quality of operational & finance data.
Identifying and analyzing data quality issues within Salesforce.
Perform regularly scheduled audits of key data and own correction on non-compliant data where necessary. Monitor data issues and improve data quality over time.
Creating reports from Salesforce as per requirements for management.
Perform data imports, exports, mass updates, and data deduplication.
Ensure data accuracy and enforce data accuracy as per governance policies.
Role Requirements
Experience Matric and 1-3 years of experience managing data within Salesforce is required - this is not negotiable.
Preferred Qualifications Salesforce certification strongly preferred. At the managers discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
Communication Skills Excellent communication, negotiations & interpersonal skills.
Analytical Skills Strong analytical & Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify & resolve issues.
Software Proficiency Proficiency in using accounting software must be very comfortable with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.

- Ensure data is treated as a strategic enterprise asset, embedding policies, controls, and cultural practices that improve data quality, consistency, privacy, and usability. By championing data literacy and governance, the Senior Manager strengthens data-driven decision-making and enables MTN Fintech to monetize its data responsibly while meeting regulatory requirements
- Minimum of 4-year tertiary degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or related field is required
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent
- Data governance certifications (e.g., DCAM)
- Cloud certifications (Azure Data Engineer, AWS Big Data Specialty)
- 8–12 years in data governance, data management, or enterprise data roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience implementing data governance frameworks in large, regulated environments (preferably fintech/financial services)
