We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Enterprise Investment Data Integrity Specialist to join our client's team in Cape Town. This is a shared role between the Investment Management and Enterprise Risk Management teams, providing vital support in investment data quality, risk analytics and financial risk management processes.
You will play an instrumental role in maintaining a trusted, best-in-class investment dataset to support asset allocation, portfolio management and reporting. The role will also involve close collaboration with teams in the US and Bermuda, with the potential to lead a small team locally in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and communicate key drivers of risk and performance.
- Oversee stress results and provide insights into asset portfolio risk.
- Develop and maintain risk and analytics tools.
- Conduct investment data validation, verification and improvement.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues while implementing preventative solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across investment data and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate process documentation and ensure best practices.
- Provide training and support on data integrity practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Risk management or relevant experience within asset management, (re)insurance, banking or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of Fixed Income products.
- Proven experience in data management and data quality within the financial sector.
- Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently across global teams.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; MS SQL knowledge an advantage.
