We are looking for a talented Videographer / Video Content Creator to join our dynamic marketing team. This is a role filled with potential for growth, creativity and responsibility. You will be required to help conceptualize, shoot and edit a variety of video content and advertising for our many and various retail products. We have our own studio, lighting and camera equipment that you will have full access to. We shoot in studio and on location - You will be required to help with these shoots and eventually handle them on your own as need arises. The right candidate should be confident, skilled in their craft, possesses a can-do attitude and is not afraid to get stuck in as a team member or solo depending on requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizing ideas / shot lists / storyboards / scripts
  • Plan shoots, prop lists and needs on a shoot-by-shoot basis.
  • Shooting on location and in studio under the supervision of the Creative Director.
  • Working towards shooting solo on various shoots as you grow in the role and in confidence.
  • Working with our makeup artist/s and shoot assistant to ensure smooth running of shoots.
  • Editing high-quality short form video content for various platforms and needs.
  • Ensure technical specs and usability of video work across multiple platforms.
  • Sourcing music and SFX
  • Source relevant equipment from external suppliers if/when needed.
  • Able to handle lighting and shoot setup
  • Taking briefs and lead from Senior Videographer, Creative Director and Marketing Manager
  • Ensure that project objectives are met and aligned with the overall campaign.
  • Stay abreast of innovation and AI developments with an eye to implement relevant new technology and AI breakthroughs as they happen.

Education: Formal Qualifications:


  • Relevant Degree/Diploma in film/video.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Min 3-5 years’ experience shooting and editing for a variety of corporate and advertising type jobs.
  • Excellent ability with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. Davinci a bonus.
  • Strong Camera equipment knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent understanding of lighting for video.
  • Great eye for detail
