The Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for creating and executing high-quality, engaging content across various platforms to support Massmart's brand and marketing objectives. This role is also required to develop compelling content that resonates with target audiences, strengthens brand presence and drives business results, overall content strategy and brand guidelines.

Requirements:
Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications and Experience required for this position
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing/ Communications / Business Administration related qualification.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in content creation/digital marketing or related role within retail/ eCommerce, or media.
- Proven track record of producing high-quality, engaging content across digital platforms.
- Experience in SEO, content marketing, and digital engagement strategies
Competencies and Skills
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and storytelling ability.
- Proficiency in social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Ability to leverage AI-driven tools for content creation, copywriting, and performance analysis.
- Understanding content management systems (CMS) and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
- Strong research skills to ensure accuracy and relevance in content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment
