Qualification & Skills
BCom/ BTech Marketing/ IMM Degree
Minimum 5 years' experience in brand management in an FMCG industry
Strong understanding of brand building principles and strategies
Proven experience as a Brand Manager or in a similar role with a working understanding of all business functions and key FMCG processes

This role is to support the delivery of brand campaigns and product launches through effective coordination, product handovers, execution of events and activations for brand building customer experiences as well as new store openings. This role will monitor brand performance, analyse campaign data, execute the marketing calendar and gather customer as well as market insights to inform strategy. They will also manage digital content and coordinate brand activity across touchpoints ensuring brand activities are well organised, on brand and aligned with key calendar timelines through fostering cross-functional collaboration, managing brand assets, product samples and assisting with the on the ground execution of customer experience driving consistency in all customer facing touchpoints to ensure the business meets is commercial goals.
Responsibilities
Brand Communication – TTL
- Implement the annual marketing calendar.
- Assist in compiling seasonal strat for marketing campaign reviews by the business using the internal strategic framework.
- Initiate the trial of innovative solutions and platforms to reach the customer.
- Strong customer experience capabilities and ability to coordinate events and activations assisting with planning logistics and managing event execution.
- Drive conversion throughout customer journey by conceptualising experiential moments of engagement. Execute campaign shoots ensuring all stakeholders uphold brand identity and visual standard consistently.
- Undertake thorough shoot and production planning to ensure effective use of timing Coordinate product handovers and develop communication and channel plans based on strategic calls ensuring key looks are featured in campaigns.
- Create Marketing Mags for campaign launches in alignment with VM team to ensure correct execution and product display.
Project Management
- Coordinate campaign shoots and productions smoothly, cost effectively and timeously. Implement the campaign strategy and ensure creative execution is consistent with brand identity and meets brand standards.
- Develop and coordinate events and activations for existing and new store to raise awareness and meet brand and commercial objectives.
- Ensure all 3rd party suppliers execute according to plan and brand standard. Ensure media for various touchpoints is handed over timeously and to spec.
- Track and traffic time allocation for the fulfilment of briefs internally or 3rd party.
Research: customer & competitor
- Gather and analyse customer feedback from activations and events and present the insights to the business
- Gather customer insights using internal resources and research houses. Implement commissioned studies ensuring delivery and accuracy
- Present shopper insights regularly to inform brand campaigns
- Support the development of insight presentations and trend reports to inform brand plans.
- Conduct continuous social listening to respond to agile brand opportunities.
- Execute insights from studies and surveys in all briefs.
- Conduct and present regular competitor and market research to inform strategy.
Budget Management
- Track all CEs and invoices to ensure vendors are up to date.
