This role is responsible for driving revenue growth and reinforcing RetailNext’s position as a leader in retail analytics.

You will lead the end-to-end product marketing function from competitive analysis and value positioning to product launches and sales enablement. Success in this role requires strong experience in B2B SaaS marketing and the ability to translate technical capabilities into impactful customer value propositions.

Responsibilities Strategic Product Positioning & Messaging
  • Own product value messaging, including persona-specific strategies and competitive differentiation
  • Translate product features into business outcomes using FBO mapping
  • Maintain up-to-date battlecards and ensure consistent messaging across all channels
Product Launches & Feature Releases
  • Develop and lead cross-functional go-to-market plans for new product and feature releases
  • Create launch assets: web copy, sales content, customer comms, training materials
  • Ensure consistent product language and terminology across teams
Sales Enablement
  • Build and manage a robust sales collateral library (pitch decks, briefs, battlecards)
  • Develop the “Golden Pitch” tailored to various buyer personas
  • Support sales training and onboarding with product-focused materials
Customer Stories & Social Proof
  • Partner with Brand to build customer story pipelines and deliver multi-format success stories
  • Create outcome-driven case studies by industry and use case
  • Nurture customer relationships for advocacy initiatives
Market Intelligence & Strategic Analysis
  • Refine buyer personas and ICPs using research and feedback
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis to inform messaging and strategy
  • Lead win/loss reviews in partnership with Sales
Skills & Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, ABM, and product-led growth
  • Strong grasp of retail tech trends, customer analytics, and IoT
  • Ability to translate complex features into clear customer benefits
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in market research, customer needs analysis, and data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives and differentiated messaging

  • Experience with marketing automation, data analysis, and CRM tools

Job Summary

The Product Marketing Specialist is a strategic partner across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, owning go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement.
