Overview
You will be responsible for leading a team responsible for maintaining and assisting in the operation of equipment and systems according to sound engineering practice and equipment specifications.

- Identify operational priorities within the section that would ensure the optimization of the section's performance
- Provide a consistent outstanding role model in relation to safety practices with a deep understanding of the importance of safety

- Grade 12 or relevant national NQFL 4 qualification
- Trade Certificate: Diesel Mechanic / Fitter or relevant trade qualification
- Code B Driver's License
- Proven leadership and team management skills

- Supervisory qualification would be advantageous
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a diesel mechanic / fitter or relevant trade of Underground Trackless Mobile Machinery
- Minimum 3 years working experience in maintenance supervision of Underground TMM for tunnel development
- Mechanized mining machinery experience (SANDVIK and EPIROC). The equipment experiences to at least cover the following:
- Single and Multi-boom Drill Rigs (Sandvik DD321, DD420, DD421, and DD422i)

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- BSc, BTech or National Higher Diploma Engineering from a recognised institution.
- DMR Government Certificate of Competency to practice as an Engineer (GCC Mines and Works - Mechanical or Electrical).
- Project Management qualification (advantageous).
- ECSA registration (advantageous).
- Proficient in MS Office including MS Projects.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Medically fit to work underground.
