KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- LV and MV Systems Engineering (conceptual & detail design and development of electrical systems and networks)
- Design, specification, and execution of electrical systems for industrial plants
- Design of LV & MV Motor Control Centres
- Design of LV & MV industrial plant reticulation systems
- Design of DC plant and battery systems
- Design of renewable energy systems
- Design of protection systems
- Specification of Electrical Switchgear and Motor Protection Equipment
- Design of cable networks and distribution systems
- Lighting and small power designs
- Design of earthing and lightning protection systems
- Ensure design compliance with the South African Grid Code
- Managing the electrical interfaces with other disciplines
- Participation in and management of procurement and installation contracts and documentation, including tender evaluation.
- Assistance during the fabrication phase of all projects
- Assisting with tender compilation
- Project cost estimations (including the compilation of Bill of Quantities (BOQs)
- Compilation of tender scope of work.
- Assisting with testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Mentoring of junior personnel
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- BSc (Eng) or B Eng degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
- Minimum 10 years relevant multi-disciplinary project design experience, especially in the Power Generation Industry.
- Experience designing PV Systems.
- Working knowledge of OHS Act and the Regulations.
- Working knowledge of the Environmental Legislation.
- Working knowledge of SANS & IEC codes, Safety Management Standards and ISO 9001.
- Knowledge and experience with the South African Grid Code.
COMPETENCIES
- Good communication and technical report writing skill.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- The use of ETAP or DigSilent would be very beneficial.
- Ability to operate under pressure in a team environment, must be a fast and accurate worker who is results driven.

Role Overview
As the Operations Director for Project Management Unit in Zutari, the incumbent will play an instrumental role in driving the operational success of the business unit. The incumbent is tasked with operationalising and leading strategic initiatives, managing day to day operations, ensuring consistent service delivery, co-ordinating cross functional collaboration whilst ensuring the operational efficiencies to achieve Zutari’s business objectives.
This pivotal role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders that delivers exceptional value to our clients whilst ensuring market penetration and the delivery of projects. The incumbent will also be responsible for establishing operational goals, metrics, and KPIs to measure performance and monitor progress at a business unit level.
Role Responsibilities
Strategy Formulation and Operational implementation:
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive strategy for the business unit aligned with Zutari’s overarching goals and objectives.
- Operationalise and monitor the implementation and execution of strategy in the business unit.
- Share insights gained in project delivery to identify opportunities, meet client needs, and ensure competitive intelligence
- Support the development of strong and meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Review project technical and commercial delivery approach and risk elements pre-contract to prevent and mitigate downstream delivery risks.
- Ensure project setup according to “The Way We Work” requirements (digital, knowledge management, resourcing, H&S, QES, etc).
- Selection, accreditation and appointment of appropriate Project Executives to lead projects from inception to close out.
- Ensure successful delivery of all projects within the business unit, adhering to quality requirements, timelines and ensuring commercial success.
- Focus on service delivery to ensure client acquisition and retention of key clients.
- Monitor project progress and performance to proactively identify potential risks or issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Escalate commercial, technical, financial and reputational risks to the appropriate levels.
- Optimize the efficient use of business unit and Zutari resources to align with current and future work demands, maximizing operational effectiveness.
- Allocate resources effectively, considering project priorities, staff capabilities, and budget constraints.
- Ensure that there is appropriate technical training and development for existing AND new staff to ensure quality work across the business unit.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient project delivery, training of employees, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.
- Give guidance to opportunity management, structuring of responses and partner management.
- Implement and oversee technical standards, procedures and compliance within the business unit.
- Support client proposals and bid/ tenders in terms of pricing and commercial review.
- Manage the project pipeline and backlog to ensure project execution readiness.
- Monitor financial metrics, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve financial objectives.
- Oversee and review change in project scope (variation orders) in support of the project managers.
- Responsible for the financial performance of the business unit, in accordance with business plans and budgets.
- Implement measures to ensure value creation and enhance operational efficiency within the business unit, including proactive cost management initiatives.
- Streamline processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive operational excellence across the business unit to enhance productivity.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across business units to co-ordinate smooth execution.
- Co-ordinate seamless integration of solutions and delivery of offerings.
- Build and maintain relationships with key strategic partners, clients, and industry bodies.
- At least 8-10 years of proven experience in an operations role of a similar nature.
- At least 15-20 years post graduate experience working in the engineering or consulting profession is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field - (Advantageous)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related Built Environment field - (Essential)
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or PrCPM - (Essential)
- Registered Engineering Professional (PrEng) or PrQS - (Advantageous)
- MBA or similar
- Must have a network, and experience working with both private and government clients.
- Proven leadership and management experience in a professional services environment with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management, client services, and account management.

Project Overview
We're specifically looking for someone with a proven track record managing multiple workstreams, including third-party vendor oversight. Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for aCivil Engineering Manager in Cape Town, South Africa to be part of our global team working together towards our vision –Improving our future. As our Civil Engineering Manager, you willbe responsible for the following main processes: Manage the civil engineering discipline regionally and deliver high quality and cost-efficient concepts and solutions for business development opportunities and construction projects within ground mounted PV, floating PV and wind power.
Manage the progress of geotechnical, hydrological, civil, structural technical deliverables for our EPC projects regionally. Manage the technical resources in region.
Main responsibilities:
Coordinate the Civil Engineering activities regionally
- Ensure that the right scope and analysis is conducted to support new concepts, business development and project activities
- Establish, maintain and improve relevant business process
- Manage our regional team within the civil engineering discipline
- Operate in matrix environment
- Identify country specific Civil risks and constraints
Develop Civil Engineering concepts and designs for new project opportunities
- Piling concepts and solutions under different soil, wind and ground water conditions
- Cost effective fit-for-purpose ground mounted PV substructures and foundations
- Floating PV, Wind and P2X jetty less terminal anchoring and mooring systems
- Wind power foundation, tower and anchor cage designs
- Manage progress on engineering deliverables in structuring- and execution phase on EPC projects globally
- Support Execution Team with planning and alignment of technical aspects of the project
- Ensure that all civil design information identified throughout the structuring phase is implemented in the detail designs in a timely matter to support construction and procurement activities
- Review of Pull-out tests strategy and methodology during development or structuring phase
- Review design change request or proposals in the event of deviations
- Support in project close out phase towards TTO
Support to Operation and Maintenance team
- Support to resolve all Civil engineering related matters identified during operations
- Assist with Civil related OPEX assumptions for the respective technologies
- Promote proactive maintenance of civil infrastructure
- Identify and qualify partners and suppliers for civil related works together with our SCM team
- Compilation and evaluation of RFP documents (technical specifications and bill of quantities), then lead technical engagement with suppliers to clarity the responses
- Establish and follow-up frame agreements with consultants
- Compilation and review of civil engineering related tender and detailed design contracts
- Compilation and review of logistics and erection/construction contractual documents
Manage in Country Civil Engineering Supervisors and Junior Engineers
- Support technical growth of site and junior engineers
- Mentor junior engineers for professional registration
- Conduct internal technical discussion to transfer skills to the Civil Team
Important role interfaces:
- The Engineering Manager is part of Regional Engineering management team
- Work closely with Senior Engineering Manager and global team
- Follow-up engineering progress on projects regionally by working with regional Project Managers and Project Technical Managers
- Provide continuous input towards improvement and optimisation of the operating system
- Overview of renewable energy technologies and energy storage solutions. Market trends, different players, business models
- Leading expert in relevant engineering disciplines (civil, wind, solar, hydro, BESS). Understanding of the integration of technologies into the system designs.
- Use, implementation, continuous improvement and optimization of the operating system (processes, procedures, templates and tools)
- Understand all relevant contracts (FIM, EPC, O&M, Grid Connection, PPA, etc) and ensure compliance with all contractual requirements
- Initiate manage and drive implementation of projects or processes in line with agreed project charter and aligned with expectations for time, quality and costs.
- Overview of cost drivers in EPC projects, cost benchmarks, market trends, cost sensitivity etc.
- Ability to prepare reports in line with relevant quality requirements and communicate/ present findings in a good way, adapted to the audience of the report/presentation.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, external parties such as suppliers, contractors, lenders and management
Qualifications and competencies
- Civil Engineering Degree (B.Eng); Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineering Registration (or similar Chartered Engineer registration)
- Design management of complex Civil infrastructure (foundations, drainage, roads and buildings)
- Understanding of Resident Engineer management of complex Infrastructure projects
- Sound knowledge of CAD knowledge andAutoCAD civil 3D (or similar numerical modelling software)
- 10+ years civil engineering experience
- 5+ years Solar and Wind energy experience
- Foundation design/Geotechnical Investigations or hydrological modelling/ drainage design experience
- Roads/pavement or Structural design analysis and bending schedules
- Ideal: Hydroelectric Power experience
- Offshore structural/geotechnical design
- Floating PV/ marine design experience
- Friction and end bearing Pile design experience
- Culvert sizing and Channel design
- Slope stability and Retaining wall design
- An excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Sound knowledge of GIS software
- Language: Fluent both written and spoken in English
- Valid driver's license and passport

We’re looking to hire a B2B Marketing Automation Associate who is excited to learn from smart people in an incredibly fast-paced environment.
In this role, your job is to ensure we’re maximizing every touchpoint in our marketing funnel to drive conversions. Your primary KPI? Advancing deals along the pipeline—improving booking rates, close rates, and overall deal velocity via email, sms and phone. You are NOT a BDR. We have an entire BDR/SDR team. Your job is to automate their job and make them do less and less.
This position is ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience managing B2B lifecycle marketing and a passion for data, automation, and optimizing customer journeys. You must be proficient in HubSpot and skilled at running targeted campaigns that move prospects down the funnel.
Key Responsibilities:Create and implement email and SMS marketing campaigns that align with our overall marketing strategy.
Own newsletter campaigns to engage and nurture leads.
Collaborate with the team to develop compelling and engaging messaging that aligns with our brand voice.
Clearly define lifecycle stages and lead status to enhance marketing and sales alignment.
Track and optimize our calling efforts — caller ID, follow-up tracking, etc.
Contribute to the development of lifecycle marketing strategies that grow customer retention, ROI, and LTV.
Conduct A/B testing on your email/sms campaigns to optimize subject lines, engagement, open rates, and conversions.
Develop and optimize marketing automation workflows in HubSpot.
Track and report on campaign performance metrics weekly .
Maintain and update performance dashboards with the latest data.
Map customer journeys in Miro and create visual workflows.
Work closely with sales to align lifecycle marketing efforts with pipeline goals.
Manage lead scoring, segmentation, and trigger-based automation to personalize outreach.
Optimize and refine existing lead nurture sequences to increase booking rates.
Drive experiments to improve email deliverability and response rates .
Manage AI-driven chatbot conversations and launch phone call campaigns (bonus, not required).
This role offers a clear path for professional growth, mentored by marketing leaders who are deeply invested in your development. As you scale lifecycle efforts, there is room to take on more strategic ownership of the customer journey .
This is a great role for someone who wants to becoming a Marketing Manager, Sales Ops Manager or Marketing Automation Manager.
Qualifications:3+ years managing B2B lifecycle marketing campaigns, ideally for SMB (as opposed to Enterprise)
Proficient in HubSpot .
Experience setting up and optimizing email, SMS, and automation workflows .
Strong analytical skills —you’re obsessed with tracking, reporting, and improving performance.
Ability to create and maintain performance dashboards .
Experience running A/B tests to improve conversion rates.
Strong project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills , particularly in a remote, fast-paced environment .
Fluent in English —there’s no copywriter to manage, so you’ll need to handle messaging yourself.
You must speak quickly . Everyone on our team is a fast talker, and we need someone who can keep up.

CSO is a community-based security and medical response organisation in Cape Town. They are looking for people who are passionate about the Jewish Community to join their team. Quick, logical thinkers who can remain calm under pressure, to work as call centre operators in the Emergency Call Centre which will operate 24/7, 365 days a year.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Answering of emergency calls and providing immediate support to caller.
- Logging emergency calls
- Dispatching of all relevant emergency services.
- Monitoring of security cameras and basic troubleshooting if required.
- Administration duties to include record keeping.
- Education & Work Experience
- Matric is an advantage, as is experience working in a high-pressure call centre or EMS environment.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of English (verbal and written) is essential with a clear and calm telephonic communication style and the ability to effectively liaise with people from all ages and stages of life.

Role overview
As the Operations Director for Project Management Unit in Zutari, the incumbent will play an instrumental role in driving the operational success of the business unit. The incumbent is tasked with operationalising and leading strategic initiatives, managing day to day operations, ensuring consistent service delivery, co-ordinating cross functional collaboration whilst ensuring the operational efficiencies to achieve Zutari’s business objectives.
This pivotal role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders that delivers exceptional value to our clients whilst ensuring market penetration and the delivery of projects. The incumbent will also be responsible for establishing operational goals, metrics, and KPIs to measure performance and monitor progress at a business unit level.
Role responsibilities
Strategy Formulation and Operational implementation:
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive strategy for the business unit aligned with Zutari’s overarching goals and objectives.
- Operationalise and monitor the implementation and execution of strategy in the business unit.
- Share insights gained in project delivery to identify opportunities, meet client needs, and ensure competitive intelligence.
Service Delivery and Risk Mitigation:
- Support the development of strong and meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Review project technical and commercial delivery approach and risk elements pre-contract to prevent and mitigate downstream delivery risks.
- Ensure project setup according to “The Way We Work” requirements (digital, knowledge management, resourcing, H&S, QES, etc).
- Selection, accreditation and appointment of appropriate Project Executives to lead projects from inception to close out.
- Ensure successful delivery of all projects within the business unit, adhering to quality requirements, timelines and ensuring commercial success.
- Focus on service delivery to ensure client acquisition and retention of key clients.
- Monitor project progress and performance to proactively identify potential risks or issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Escalate commercial, technical, financial and reputational risks to the appropriate levels.
Resource Management:
- Optimize the efficient use of business unit and Zutari resources to align with current and future work demands, maximizing operational effectiveness.
- Allocate resources effectively, considering project priorities, staff capabilities, and budget constraints.
- Ensure that there is appropriate technical training and development for existing AND new staff to ensure quality work across the business unit.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient project delivery, training of employees, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.
- Give guidance to opportunity management, structuring of responses and partner management.
- Implement and oversee technical standards, procedures and compliance within the business unit.
- Support client proposals and bid/ tenders in terms of pricing and commercial review.
- Manage the project pipeline and backlog to ensure project execution readiness.
- Monitor financial metrics, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve financial objectives.
- Oversee and review change in project scope (variation orders) in support of the project managers.
- Responsible for the financial performance of the business unit, in accordance with business plans and budgets.
- Implement measures to ensure value creation and enhance operational efficiency within the business unit, including proactive cost management initiatives.
- Streamline processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive operational excellence across the business unit to enhance productivity.
Collaboration and Co-ordination
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across business units to co-ordinate smooth execution.
- Co-ordinate seamless integration of solutions and delivery of offerings.
- Build and maintain relationships with key strategic partners, clients, and industry bodies.
- At least 8-10 years of proven experience in an operations role of a similar nature.
- At least 15-20 years post graduate experience working in the engineering or consulting profession is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field - (Advantageous)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related Built Environment field - ( Essential)
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or PrCPM - ( Essential)
- Registered Engineering Professional (PrEng) or PrQS - (Advantageous)
- MBA or similar
- Must have a network, and experience working with both private and government clients.
- Proven leadership and management experience in a professional services environment with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management, client services, and account management.
- Ability to identify potential operational risks proactively, assess, develop and implement risk management strategies.
- Proven track record of managing responses to operational risks and crises.
- Strong understanding of professional services.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing client needs and market and industry dynamics to ensure market penetration.
