Applications are invited for the Field Technician - Junior position to be based in Ceres.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Field Technician Junior's main duty will be to oversee and lead installations/repairs on Wireless or Fibre networks. Focusing on standard home or small basic business installations/repairs/surveys.
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
General:
- Follow set SOP's and procedures.
- Work closely with a Team Leader and Scheduler.
- Maintaining project and safety documentation.
- Accurate reporting and updates on work done.
- Ensuring all relevant stock is available for the work that was scheduled.
- Keep equipment well maintained.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures.
- Completing all SHER and OHS required documentation.
- Fibre Troubleshooting: Splicing, testing, dome management,
- Wireless Troubleshooting: Signal testing on CPE's, access points and bandwidth capacity.
- Basic Network Troubleshooting: Ip conflicts, firewall issues and routing issues.
- Installation of VoIP systems.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Work overtime, weekends, or on emergency call outs as required.
- Working at heights: House roofs, telephone/gum poles or large buildings.
- Working in crawl and small spaces for installation purposes.
Installation:
- Receiving daily job cards for new installations.
- Referencing job cards for correct stock needed for the installation.
- Confirming clients' needs are met as indicated on job cards. Able to update Sales or Technical Department to adjust quote.
- Installation of Fibre and Wireless CPE's.
- Cable runs internal and external. Both Network and Fibre cable runs.
- Communicate with Installation Team Leader to confirm RF signal is as required on LOS.
- Communicate with Installation Team Leader to confirm Fibre signal is as required and color allocations are correct.
- Basic access point and network setups.
- Setup and confirm the client's existing equipment is still working and that client verified that everything works as it should.
- Upgrade all equipment's firmware, clean up and take photos for quality control.
- Follow quality control with your team leader for confirmation when the installation has been completed.
- Complete installation job card with equipment used, related technical information and photos.
- Inspect site, for possible future problems. Take photos and update accordingly.
- Update Ticket with all relevant work done for job card completion and invoicing.
Callout Repairs:
- Confirm issues with client as described on ticket.
- Troubleshoot fast and sufficiently.
- Able to identify problems leading to Fibre or Wireless not performing optimally and determine solutions.
- Communicate costs implications involved with the repair if any.
- Has knowledge of products and pricing.
- Able to resolve the issue on site or replace the necessary equipment.
- Confirm with client that repair has been completed and that the client tested.
- Ensure that the client is satisfied with the work that has been done.
- Follow quality control with your team leader for confirmation when the repair has been completed.
- Inspect site, for possible future problems. Take photos and update accordingly.
- Update ticket with all relevant work done for job card completion and invoicing.
CPE Recovery: Wireless & Fibre:
- Remove relevant equipment and clean-up.
- Complete recovery job card with equipment removed.
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
- 1 year's Fibre Optic splicing experience.
- 1 year's RF/Wireless experience.
- Knowledge around network structures, crimping.
- Previous experience in the IT Industry advantageous.
- Basic computer skills
- Customer service experience.
- Basic Networking considered an asset.
- Technical training considered an asset. Electronics, IT, Networking, VoIP, IP cameras etc.
- Experience using FO troubleshooting tools (i.e. OTDR, Mass Fusion Splicing, etc.).

Currently we are looking for an Electrician in Grootfontein (Ceres), Western Cape, South Africa to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Electrician you will perform Electrical work on the Solar PV Plant that will include Modification, Repair and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment and Systems as well as switching, isolation, earthing and LOTO duties as per Authorisation level. You will be required to support to provide training and supervision to junior personnel and to be the Authorized Person on Duty (APD) when the O&M Manager is off site.
Main responsibilities
Perform Electrical Duties on Plant
- Perform work in the modification, repair test and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
- Perform work in the modification, technical troubleshoot, repair test and maintenance of all facility electrical equipment and systems
- Complete routine safety documentation before every job including tailgate meetings, electrical work permits, etc.
- Perform switching, isolation, safety test and earthing and LOTO duties as per Authorisation level of the organizational ORHVS and PSR
- Perform OEM specific Preventative and Corrective Maintenance tasks on BESS, trackers, and all other PV electrical equipment to adhere to warranty requirements and industry best practices
- Interpret schematics and blueprints
- Quality assurance checklists and inspections to document deficiencies and identify corrective actions needed
- Daily digital reporting and document on CMMS the maintenance activities of all facility electrical equipment, systems and spare parts
- Control and perform monthly electrical equipment/instruments and tools inspections
- Monitor and support the activities of Maintenance sub-contractor(s)
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
- Identify and provide feedback to issues and ongoing development of projects
- Perform functions of Authorised Person and Responsible Person as per Plant requirements
Supervision and training
- Supervise and train junior personnel in associated duties

Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Local Market Sales Manager to lead the growth of our domestic sales operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with local buyers, retailers, wholesalers, and hospitality clients while optimizing the sales process for locally marketed produce.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute a local sales strategy aligned with Fresh-X's broader commercial objectives.
· Identify, onboard, and manage key local clients, including wholesalers, retailers, markets, and food-service buyers.
· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms to achieve maximum profitability.
· Monitor stock movement, market prices, and quality control for all local produce.
· Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure on-time, efficient delivery.
· Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports, forecasts, and client feedback summaries.
· Represent Fresh-X at regional produce markets, trade shows, and industry events.
· Drive innovation in packaging, presentation, and client engagement to elevate the Fresh-X local brand.
Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of experience in fresh-produce, FMCG, or Agri-sales environment.
· Proven record in business-to-business (B2B) negotiation and client relationship management.
· Strong understanding of South African local produce markets and distribution chains.
· Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.
· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.
Preferred Qualifications
· Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Agribusiness, or Supply Chain.
· Experience with pricing systems, cold chain logistics, or produce market operations.
· Fluency in Afrikaans and English.

Minimum Duties:
The Host will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a calm, safe and functional environment.
- Being an excellent host to guests and clients of the Haven.
- Supervising clients in their allocated duties.

Minimum Requirements: -
Reside in the area close to the shelter or in the surrounding areas, Code B drivers licence, Matric, be able to work shifts and alternate weekends, ability to interact with clients from different cultures and religions, manage conflict situations, basic level of computer literacy - MS Office, MS Excel and Outlook, ability to work as a team player, be of sober habits, no criminal record, be in good health, experience in the NGO sector will be an advantage.

Job Summary:
We are seeking Depot Assistant who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of fuel products between depots, distribution points, and client locations. This role requires adherence to strict safety standards, regulatory compliance, The individual in this role will also assist in the daily operations at the depot, including vehicle maintenance, inventory management, loading/unloading fuel, and supporting the overall logistics team in achieving operational goals. A strong understanding of safety procedures, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
· Ordering, Loading and delivery of the fuel and Lubricants.
· Daily vehicle inspection.
· Take full responsibility for the company vehicle in terms of presentation, tidiness and roadworthiness, as well as adhering to standard road safety regulations.
· Must load and unload product on trucks
· Must dip tanks daily
· Responsible for the cleanliness of the depot
· Must conduct stock recons on Fuel and Lubricants and forward dips daily
Requirements:
· Code 10 driver's licence is mandatory where Code 14 is advantageous.
· Must reside in Bredasdorp area.
· Sober habits and clean criminal record – also need to pass honesty test
· Physical strength and endurance with the ability to lift items that weigh approximately 50kg during the process of loading and off-loading.
· The ability to function as part of a team.
· Adequate knowledge of the geographical area for navigation purposes.
· Must be willing to work overtime.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Excellent communication in both English and Afrikaans.
· Must be able to function well under pressure.
· Must be willing to work throughout public holidays when necessary.
· 5 years previous experience of depot assistant or in similar role.
· Computer Literate
· Previous fuel or bulk liquid experience, although not a requirement, will count in your favour
