WSP has a new full-time opportunity within our Water Use and Resource Management team for a Principal Hydrologist or Water Resources Engineer, based in Midrand. You will be supporting and contributing on hydrological projects such as storm water management, hydrology studies/modelling, river design, water intakes, water quality modelling, climate assessment and modelling and water management plans.

• Bachelor of Science in Hydrology, preferably with an Honours degree (Masters highly advantageous), including 5+ years’ working experience in a similar field, and experience in the field of Environmental Engineering related to surface water is required OR
• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with exposure to environmental water related engineering
• Membership of professional industry bodies (Pr.Sci.Nat, Pr Eng) or similar
• Extensive experience in project management on a wide range of projects – a project management qualification would be advantageous
• In-depth experience of using Pitman, WRSM 2000 PCSWMM, Hec-RAS, Hec-HMS, GoldSim, CAD, ArcGIS, QGIS will be advantageous
