mainly responsible for the overall operation and management of the warehouse department, ensuring efficient and orderly storage and circulation of goods.

Cross-departmental communication and collaboration: Maintain close communication with procurement, sales, logistics and other departments, obtain business demand information in a timely manner, coordinate and solve problems in the receipt, delivery and distribution of goods, ensure smooth coordination of upstream and downstream supply chains, and provide strong support for the company’s business development.

Data analysis and reporting: Regularly collect, organize and analyze warehouse-related data, such as inventory turnover rate, in-and-out warehouse accuracy, warehouse cost, etc., form reports and analysis reports, provide data basis for the company’s management decision-making, put forward reasonable suggestions, and promote the improvement of the company’s warehouse management level.

Candidates need to have at least a college degree or above, majors in logistics management, warehousing management, supply chain management, etc. are preferred. Outbound

Binning of Parts

• To oversee binning of parts in correct bins.
• Confirm correct bin allocation as per the GDS system.

Credit Notes

• To ensure that credit notes are checked and signed off for processing. All credit notes to be filed in sequenceand stored.
• To ensure that the correct procedures are followed when processing credits i.e. No electrical parts arereturned etc.

Perpetual Stock Counts and Bin Verifications

• Ensuring that perpetual counts are done on a daily basis as per set quantities on the total volume of theWarehouse.
• To make sure a thorough investigation is done when discrepancies occur.
• All adjustments to be investigated and updates to be authorized before the system is updated.

House Keeping

• Ensure warehouse premises (inside/outside) always neat and tidy.
• Ensure parts stored correctly.

• Ensure waste collected timeously.

Exchange Parts

• Ensure parts from customer are at the agreed exchange standards (See Manual).
• Responsible for physical receiving & storage.
• Responsible for preparing supplier/core returns.
• Ensure that the packing and labelling of core parts be returned to PDC.

Deliveries

• To control deliveries to customers and ensure proper route planning and scheduling.
• Make sure that drivers are adhering to company rules and regulations regarding the use of companyvehicles.

Health and Safety

• To ensure that all warehouse personnel abides by the rules and regulations set aside in the Volvoprocedures regarding health and safety.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

Warehouse Management :

Manage operations in the packaging / BULK and raw material warehouses including storage handling picking compliance and processing of inbound and outbound functions.

Coordinating co-packing management ensuring smooth operations in issuing packaging and BULK pen stock to and from the Co-packer.

Coordinates manages and reviews various packaging supplier deliveries including performance on a daily weekly and monthly basis.

Ensure monthly performance communication to the main business stakeholders.

Ensure compliance of the warehousing and distribution facilities in relation to health and safety aspects relating to local legislation as well as BIC global standards. (In house and or 3PL).

Continuously evaluate local warehouse network in search for improvements and efficiencies considering the business priorities.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives / projects with the objective of streamlining the process and driving efficiency.

Continuously reviewing updating and documenting logistics processes & SOPs.

KPIs : Warehouse utilization Co-packing performance Documentation accuracy.

Inventory & Slob Management :

Drive Initiatives to monitor / check and correct inventory accuracy in the finished goods / packaging BULK and raw material warehouses.

Monthly feedback to E2E planning on inventory and SLOB.

Drive monthly actions with Warehouse / Logistics and Co-Packing management team to reduce inventory variances and deliver to the cluster target.

People Management :

Managing a team of 4 people (2 direct reports)

Provide technical functional leadership to the local team to deliver superior customer service and optimize costs.

Define and maintain team structure roles and responsibilities. Analyze long term capacity of Supply & Deliver teams and plan accordingly.

Responsible for engagement development and growth of the local Supply & Deliver team.

KPIs : Engagement Survey results and actions to follow.

Cost Management :

Manage the CE cost for the cluster : Freight Distribution and Labor cost.

Monitor and report weekly and monthly the inventory accuracy / warehouse utilization / SLOB and ageing of inventory.

Continuously drive cost performance through projects and initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Logistics / Supply chain field or similar qualification essential.

3-5 years Supply Chain experience within a FMCG manufacturing or related environment is essential and experience within the stationary business is advantageous.

SHEQ or relevant Health and Safety training.

JDE or similar enterprise software experience advantageous.

Warehouse Management software experience required.

Must have knowledge of Supply Chain Operations.

Must have knowledge of Co-Packing Operations.
