Responsibilities:

• Advise Production and QA on product, process improvements by monitoring and reviewing action progress and results, to ensure process stability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate the implementation of cross-functional action plans for product, process improvements by analyzing and evaluating data and communication through SET meetings.
• Achieve Group problem resolution targets through constant analysis and corrective action for noise, function, water leak, and electrical-related deviations.
• Perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions for problems assigned to QA by conducting detailed analysis.
• Drive problem resolution process by creating problem sheets and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure speedy and effective problem resolution for improved build quality and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with providing technical expertise for training of production personnel and optimizing of production build process.
• Liaise with overseas counterparts regarding build/quality issues through telecommunications to exchange information and stay abreast of latest product changes to ensure vehicles are built to the latest levels.
• Liaise with suppliers via QA Purchase Parts, regarding part quality problems by completing fitment exercises, evaluating the condition, and advising on corrective action measures to ensure parts are to design specification.
• Prepare and present reports to Senior Management at presentation meetings in order to inform them with regards to analyses progress and struggle points which may require intervention or decisions.
• Develop new project timing plans for internal Q release activities in line with the overall project plan.

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for all financial reporting and risk related aspects of the organisation. The Chief Financial Officer is a member of the Group Executive Management Team and reports to the Group CEO. Business And Finance Strategy and Planning:

• Initiate and drive the development of the Business Strategy and support the Group CEO in driving the execution of the strategy across the Group. Serve as a member of the Group Executive Committee.
• Develop the annual and 3-year Group Finance Strategy aligned to the Business Strategy. Guide and approve annual Finance operational plans, ensuring alignment to the Group Finance Strategy and Business Strategy.
• Provide expert financial advice and analysis to support decision making to the Executive Committee, the Group CEO and the Board. Produce monthly and quarterly reports on the performance of the division.

• Oversee the cash flow, working capital management, and debt covenant to ensure all financial obligations are met.

People Development and Management:

• Manage the recruitment of direct subordinates in accordance with company policy and procedure. Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring and advice to subordinates.
• Develop performance contracts for subordinates and conduct performance reviews to measure performance against agreed objectives, identifying training needs.
• Lead the development of the division’s Succession Plan, staff retention strategy and identify a pool of potential leaders.

Brief description of the position

The Quality Engineer (Product Safety Representative) will ensure that Group Africa adheres to the legal obligation to ensure product safety to avoid risks of loss/damages to persons or property that arise from the use of the Product.

Possible Tasks within this Role

1. Assisting in new projects with the establishment of Product Safety. The target is complete implementation of actions/corrective actions to vehicle safety requirements for the prevention of repeat failures with the use of the Product Safety catalogue (lessons learnt).
2. Inspecting pre-series units in conjunction with other Q-type responsible PSB’s to expedite safety relevant problem recognition and corrective action implementation.
3. Undertaking regular vehicle and line checks to evaluate current production (parts, part assemblies and sub-assemblies), and obtain corrective actions for any potential safety relevant problems detected.
4. Representing the interest of the Quality Assurance Department during technical discussions with Service and the Product Safety Committee.
5. Ensuring/initiating and/or assisting in the establishment of corrective action to resolve problems, tracking monitoring of the implementation of agreed actions and verification of effectiveness within the Production/Field with the Service Department.

Minimum Requirements

Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to proactively assist the National Risk Manager to manage risk within the company.

Responsibilities:

Key Performance Areas:

• Conduct Monthly and Quarterly risk assessments on all departments' standard operating and administrative processes.
• Review processes and procedures in stores.
• After audits performed, draft a risk report of the company with recommendations based on findings.
• Monitor controls for stock management, IBT’s, sending and receiving stock, overseeing the resolution of issues between stores and the distribution centre and investigate any variances.
• Management of problematic/high-risk stores in allocated areas with internal audits and provide weekly feedback, report on risks and implementation of preventative measures.

The Ready-Mix Concrete Logistics Controller will be responsible for managing the logistics operations of our ready-mix concrete supply chain for the Transkei and Lesotho regions, ensuring efficient delivery of concrete products to construction sites while maintaining the highest standards of service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate logistics activities to meet customer requirements and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requests and Order Management:
  • Receive request for quotation and attend to within mandated turnaround time/escalate to tenders’ department where required.
  • Receive orders for ready-mix concrete from customers, ensuring to include concrete specifications, quantities, and delivery locations, special instructions, etc.
  • Coordinate with the operational team ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and any challenges experienced.
• Dispatch and Routing:
  • Plan and optimize delivery for ready-mix concrete trucks based on order locations, traffic conditions, and truck/plant capacities.
  • Monitor truck movements and obtain/provide real-time updates from dispatchers to customers and project stakeholders regarding delivery status.
• Customer Service:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding concrete orders, delivery inquiries, and scheduling changes.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues related to delivery delays, product quality, or service discrepancies in a timely and professional manner, by escalating to the appropriate department head and ensuring close out within the acceptable timeframes.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, and project managers to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Raw Material Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, aggregates, and cement to ensure adequate supply for concrete production.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to replenish inventory as needed and optimize inventory levels.

• Valid driver’s license and own car
• At least 5 years’ experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the ready-mix concrete/Construction industry
