Requirements
- Grade 12 as minimum requirement.
- Relevant Diploma – Supply Chain or Logistics would be an advantage.
- At least 3-5 years Agric or Supply Chain experience.
- Great Plains system experience.
- Computer Literacy MS (Word/Excel) is not negotiable.

RCL FOODS is searching for a Supply Planner to join the Groceries Division . The role will be based in Randfontein , Gauteng and will report into the Supply Chain Manager .
The Supply Planner will be responsible to develop and prepare both the short and longer term supply planning for finished goods, as well as packaging and ingredients, using the forward forecast and balancing it against supply constraints to optimize customer service at minimal cost. All this needs to be done considering product mix to maximize profit when making supply choices.
The role will require working closely with other supply planners, production, material requirements planner, demand planners and the distribution team, call center to proactively ensure that there are no interruptions in supply.
Minimum Requirements- Relevent degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Engineering.
- 3 - 5 years operational experience, preferably within the production planning environment.
- Strong operations processing experience within a supply planning role is advantageous.
- SAPICS or APICS are also preferred.
- Computer literacy (SAP, Syspro, Barnton and MS Office skills prerequisite).
- Production planning skills with strong knowledge of supply chain.
