The role of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key ambassador of the TFG employer brand.
This role will design all elements of our new employee people attraction, recruitment, onboarding, and employee integration model to attract and source top talent, aligned with business and brand strategies.
This role will design and implement our internal talent marketplace, new applicant tracking system and will manage talent acquisition related compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:- End to end process design for the attraction and tracking of new employees.
- Engagement with external stakeholders (agencies, higher educational institutions).
- End to end youth pipeline recruitment design (Graduates, Learners, Interns, Trainees, Bursaries)
- Accountable for the onboarding process design for all business units across stores, distribution centres, manufacturing and contact centres and head office.
- End to end design and implementation of the new TFG ATS (applicant tracking system).
- End to end design and implementation of the TFG ITM (internal digital talent marketplace).
- Accountable for compliance related policies and processes relating to talent management (pre-employment verification, recruitment, onboarding, succession planning).
- HR Related Degree or equivalent working experience.
- 5 years experience in Talent Acquisition specialist design.
- 8 – 10 years experience in Talent Acquisition.
- Knowledge of People Management processes, Talent recruitment, and sourcing, Onboarding and recruitment systems.
- High service delivery, customer centric and performance mindset.
- Keen judgement and decision-making skills.
- Ability to take strategic thinking into a workable solution.

- The Senior SAP Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in sourcing and delivering SAP talent for internal project and client requirements. Focused on high-volume, deadline-driven recruitment, this role is responsible for building robust pipelines of qualified SAP professionals across a variety of modules and technologies. This position supports our internal delivery teams by ensuring technical SAP resources are identified, engaged, and ready for rapid deployment.
1. SAP Talent Sourcing
- Drive full-cycle recruitment for SAP technical and functional roles (e.g. ABAP, FICO, MM/SD, BASIS, BW, SuccessFactors, S/4HANA).
- Identify and attract top SAP professionals through proactive sourcing, headhunting, referrals, and online platforms.
- Engage with passive candidates and convert them into active opportunities for current and upcoming projects.
- Build and maintain strong SAP talent pipelines aligned to forecasted delivery needs.
- Segment pipelines by skill type, location, availability, and experience level to ensure readiness for client mobilisation.
- Work closely with Delivery Managers and Project Leads to anticipate demand and ensure resource availability.
- Partner with internal teams (Delivery, HR, and Bid Office) to understand project timelines and resource needs.
- Ensure high-quality candidate profiles are submitted in line with client expectations.
- Maintain all recruitment records in Zoho Recruit, ensuring accurate tracking of candidate status, availability, and documentation.
- Streamline recruitment workflows for speed and efficiency, without compromising candidate quality.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and data protection standards (POPIA).
- Manage communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Provide a high-touch experience that promotes DLK’s brand and values in the SAP professional community.
- Ensure regular updates and follow-up to keep candidates engaged and informed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical recruitment, with at least 3 focused on SAP roles.
- Understanding of SAP modules and technical skillsets essential.
- Strong sourcing capabilities, especially in niche technical SAP areas.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and organised with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communicator who thrives under pressure.
- Confident using Zoho Recruit or similar ATS platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding the use / functionality of AI
