STOCK CONTROL

1. Maintain stock levels and submit weekly replenishment orders.

2. Oversee all stock movement in and out of the store.

4. Action all aged & repossessed goods.

5. Oversee daily sectional stock counts and manage monthly stock counts.

6. Resolve all stock discrepancies.

7. Authorize all stock movements in and out of the store.

8. Oversee the management of all Lay-Byes.

9. Ensure all ticketing is correct and that price changes are implemented.

FIXED ASSET MANAGEMENT

1. Oversee the management of all fixed assets within the store.

2. Ensure that the necessary paper work relating to fixed assets is completed (register, movement forms, insurance claims etc.).

3. Assist in resolving any variances that may arise from the fixed asset stock takes.

CASH CONTROL

1. Authorize daily cash-ups and banking.

2. Resolve any variances on the cash-ups.

3. Check manual cash sales and manual receipt books.

4. Petty cash analysis.

DELIVERIES AND COLLECTIONS

1. Schedule daily deliveries and collections.

2. Ensure that delivery vehicles are in good shape and undergo regular maintenance.

MARKETING

1. Implement monthly marketing plan.

2. Ensure the Display policy & procedure is adhered to.

3. Organize product promotions or use initiatives to promote sales and generate cash.

4. Carry out monthly marketing instruction.

5. Oversee the distribution of brochures.

6. Oversee the organizing of promotional events.

HUMAN RESOURCES AND STAFF MANAGEMENT

1. Oversee other staff, delegate duties to them and evaluate their performance.

2. Maintain attendance registers.

3. Allocate & plan staff leave & days-off.

4. Monitor all staff leave.

5. Handle and/or resolve any employee disciplinary and/or grievance issues.

6. Hold effective meetings and clearly set individual targets and levels of work required.

8. Conduct bi-annual performance discussions with staff.

ADMINISTRATION

1. Oversee, manage and authorize all sales, credit, cash, stock and delivery/collection functions.

2.Manage branch telephone system: monitoring, allocating staff expenses etc. 3. Monitor all daily reports and discuss with staff. 4. Adhere to daily, weekly & monthly checklists. 5. Communicate effectively with Head Office and other branches as required.

IT MANAGEMENT
