An exciting opportunity exists for a highly experienced and multi-skilled Senior ICT Service Technician to join a well-established ICT solutions provider in Newcastle .
- The successful candidate will operate in a senior, hands-on capacity, offering support across multiple technology platforms and client environments.
- This role suits a dynamic team leader with strong technical capabilities across ICT, CCTV, PABX, telecommunications, and office automation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Act as a Multi-skilled Technician / Specialist
- Install, repair, service and support :
- CCTV Systems
- Telecommunication Systems
- Photocopiers and Office Automation
- ICT Infrastructure and Networking
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians.
- Work closely with the Service Supervisor on planning, scheduling, client service and escalation matters.
- Maintain a CRM system for logging work, updates and reporting.
- Conduct preventative maintenance in line with service standards.
- Attend to field service calls and complete jobs at client sites.
- Carry out equipment installations, network setups and troubleshooting.
- Assist with technical support, training, and on-site testing.
- Ensure proper documentation of tasks, fault reports and service sheets.
- Travel as required to client sites.
- Must be physically fit and able to manage heavier office automation hardware.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :
- Matric / Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification or ICT technical trade (adv)
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Minimum 5 years relevant field service experience
- Strong exposure to a variety of systems including :
- CCTV / Security Surveillance
- ICT Support & Networking
- PABX / VoIP Solutions
- Telecoms Infrastructure
- Photocopier and OA Hardware
- Strong installation, networking, and fault-finding skills.
- Experience in setting up print / scan to folder / email functionality.
- Good knowledge of technical manuals, diagrams and part catalogues.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Must reside in or near Newcastle.

Duties- Recruit and lead candidate experience for G&A and Operations roles globally.
- Recruit exceptional talent to join our rapidly growing Deel team, collaborate with our hiring managers and other related stakeholders to create and maintain candidate scorecards.
- Building a deep understanding of the Deel product, and exactly what is required of our new team members.
- Develop and refine our interview processes to optimize for efficiency and an amazing candidate experience.
- Working with our management team and leadership to develop internal and external sourcing strategies.
- Ensuring we maintain an incredible culture throughout Deel, and the team live and breathe our key principles.
- 7+ years of experience in a talent acquisition focused role, ideally having spent 5+ years as part of an internal talent acquisition team.
- Experience of recruiting across G&A and Operations functions.
- You have experience in an ambitious and scrappy recruitment function, and have a track record of hiring top talent quickly.
- You are comfortable handling complex candidate questions as they may pertain to compensation, equity, immigration and other related issues.
- Strong data, analytical skills and attention to detail.
- You are a natural communicator and can engage the room effortlessly when presenting, speaking and demonstrating Educated to minimum BA / BSc level ideally in HR, Psychology, Maths, Engineering, Technology or related discipline.
- You are used to working with data to make processes more efficient.
