- E-E-A-T & Semantic SEO: Ensure all content adheres to Google's E-E-A-T principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness). Use semantic SEO strategies including topic clustering, structured data, and entity optimization to improve relevance and authority.
- Cross-Channel Optimization: Lead SEO efforts across all relevant platforms—including websites, YouTube, and social media—ensuring content is discoverable where our audiences search.
- Content & Product Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, product managers, and designers to integrate SEO requirements into content planning and product development for long-term organic growth.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Use tools like GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush to track traffic, rankings, and engagement. Generate regular SEO performance reports and communicate key insights and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Agency & Budget Management: Manage external SEO agencies, including contract negotiation, performance reviews, and budget oversight. Ensure effective use of resources to meet business KPIs.
- Market & Funnel Growth Insights: Identify SEO-driven growth opportunities across markets, sales funnels, and new product verticals, using insights to shape digital marketing and product strategies.
- Innovation & Trend Leadership: Stay on top of industry trends, search algorithm updates, and emerging technologies. Bring innovative thinking and proactive adaptation to continuously improve our SEO performance.
- Minimum of 5 years in SEO with a strong focus on content-led strategies, technical SEO, and managing multi-brand or multilingual sites.
- Proven track record optimizing content across web, video (YouTube), and social platforms with measurable results.
- Familiarity with AI-powered SEO tools (e.g. Jasper, Surfer, ChatGPT, Clearscope) and proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs / SEMrush, and data visualization tools.

- Write and edit marketing materials including guides, brochures, and website content
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, account management) to align messaging
- Assist with content planning and publication calendars
Marketing Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on key marketing metrics (SEO, email, website traffic, social)
- Provide performance insights to leadership via tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or Excel
- Monitor results from paid media campaigns (run by external teams) and relay key findings
Social Media Support
- Publish / Create scheduled content on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Assist with monitoring engagement and basic community interaction
Qualifications & Work Experience
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, email content creation, and reporting
- Ability to execute marketing tasks independently without strategic ownership
- Comfortable using tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Excel
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and dependable, with a proactive attitude

- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am to 6:00pm (South African Time)
- 'HYBRID' position (2 days office, 3 days home), from Cape Town, South Africa

Role Description
This is a part-time or full-time remote role in our marketing team at diginu. The successful candidates will onboard restaurants, grocery stores, and liquor stores in South Africa, and every order placed on diginu at those stores will result in commission, every single time. As a result, the commission can become significant and is dependent on individual efforts.
This Industry
R50 billion+ will be spent in 2025 on online food ordering in South Africa, with 21.1 million people expected to order online. This industry is HUGE, and as a result, the commission is far above industry standard for marketing opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements

We’re looking for a data-driven SEO Executive to help us grow our organic reach, improve search rankings, and optimise content performance across the site. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to make a direct impact on a high-traffic platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day SEO strategy and execution for PracticeAptitudeTests.com
- Conduct regular keyword research and use data to inform content creation and updates
- Audit and optimise on-page SEO: meta tags, internal linking, headers, URL structure, etc.
- Identify and fix technical SEO issues in collaboration with our development team
- Monitor SEO performance, provide insights, and report regularly on rankings, traffic, and visibility
- Support link-building initiatives and outreach campaigns
- Collaborate with writers, developers, and marketing to implement best practices across content
- Stay up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and competitor movements
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in an SEO role, ideally within a content-heavy or e-learning business
- Expert in SEMrush for keyword tracking, competitor analysis, and technical audits
- Expertise in using AI tools to streamline SEO research, content optimisation, and productivity
- Strong knowledge of SEO tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and GA4
