They're looking for other highly motivated and driven people who want to grow personally, professionally, and financially—all while making a positive impact for their clients.
Is that you? Who we're looking for: We are looking for an exceptional SEO Manager to help law firms dominate the search rankings and drive high-intent traffic that turns into leads and cases! In this remote role, you will be critical in supporting, growing, and enhancing client relationships while executing data-driven SEO strategies.
You'll own and optimize SEO strategies, work closely with content and technical teams, and drive measurable results.

- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-intent, case-generating opportunities.
- Optimize website performance through technical SEO audits, schema markup, and site structure improvements.
- Improve local SEO visibility, including Google Business Profile optimizations, local citations, and reviews management.
- Collaborate with content teams to develop high-quality, optimized content that ranks and converts.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Identify new growth opportunities and proactively recommend and implement high-impact SEO strategies.

- Deliver monthly reporting insights and recommendations to our Client Success Manager (CSM) for client presentations.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and SEO algorithm updates, implementing best practices for sustainable growth.
- Support sales efforts by providing SEO audits and assessments for potential clients.
Your success will be measured by:
- Lead KPIs: Keyword rankings growth (tracking progress for primary target keywords), Organic traffic growth (year-over-year and month-over-month trends), Local SEO visibility improvements (Google Business Profile insights, local pack rankings), Backlink acquisition success (quality and relevance of new backlinks).
- Lag KPIs: Client ROI/results (organic leads, case volume, revenue impact), Client retention rate (churn rate).

Important personality traits:
- Proactive: You don't wait to be told what to do—you find opportunities and take action.
- Detail-Oriented: You're obsessed with getting SEO right and know that small changes can make a big impact.
- Results-Driven: You are motivated by seeing your SEO efforts turn into leads and revenue for clients.
- Resilient: Algorithm updates and SEO challenges don't scare you—you adapt, test, and improve.
- 4-year bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting.
- 3+ years of experience working with law firm SEO (personal injury, criminal defense, family law, etc.).

- SEO Strategy & Execution: You're an SEO expert who knows how to rank websites and drive meaningful organic traffic.
- Analytical Thinking: You thrive on data and know how to interpret SEO analytics to inform strategic decisions.

Are you an SEO expert obsessed with organic traffic, technical audits, and ranking results? Do you love crafting and executing strategies that drive measurable growth? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
At The Munro Agency, we're on the hunt for an SEO Manager who blends strategic thinking with deep technical know-how. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who lives and breathes search engine optimisation and wants to make a real impact across a variety of B2B clients.
We're especially keen to hear from those who are excited by the evolution of search—from traditional rankings to AI Overviews and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO). If you're curious about how content is surfaced in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's Search Generative Experience (SGE), you'll feel right at home here.
What You'll Do
- Own and deliver comprehensive SEO strategies across multiple client accounts.
- Conduct technical SEO audits, keyword research, content planning, and competitor analysis.
- Lead AEO initiatives by structuring content for AI visibility, including schema, structured data, semantic search optimisation, and conversational queries.
- Monitor and improve site performance, page speed, indexing, and crawlability.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO is embedded from ideation to implementation.
- Track rankings, organic traffic, AI referral traffic, and conversions using GA4, Search Console, and third-party tools.
- Stay ahead of the curve on algorithm updates, AI-generated content, and the shifting SERP landscape.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of SEO, from technical foundations to off-page authority building.
- Create structured content and metadata with AEO in mind (FAQ formats, semantic headings, schema markup).
- Optimise for visibility in emerging platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews.
- Translate data into clear performance reports and actionable strategy updates.
- Support the Director with high-priority client strategy and internal training on AI search trends.
What are the role requirements?
- 3+ years of proven SEO experience (agency experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and modern content strategy.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Screaming Frog, Semrush, Search Console, GA4, and schema generators.
- A clear understanding of how AI and LLMs are reshaping the search landscape—and the curiosity to keep learning.
- Comfortable writing or briefing content optimised for both humans and machines.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Who excels in this role?
- You think beyond rankings and know how to optimise for visibility across AI platforms.
- You're excited by the future of search - and want to help shape it.
- You enjoy working on complex SEO challenges and translating them into commercial wins.
- You're proactive, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-moving, ideas-driven environment.
What are some of the benefits of working at The Munro Agency?
- Flexible working hours (after 6-month trial period)
- Learning & development budget
- Interactive employee training and on-boarding
- Training for Marketing Automation and Google certifications
The Downsides of Working at The Munro Agency - we believe in full transparency, so here are some "terrible" aspects of working with us:
- Early Finish Fridays: You'll often be asked to finish early on a Friday. We know, it's a tough life.
- Dad Jokes Galore: Prepare for an onslaught of dad jokes from our director.
- Emoji-fixation: Your face could be turned into an emoji for internal chats.
