Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct two daily calls with managers to confirm the status of every car.
- Provide customers with updates after each (text or phone call).

Role Purpose / Business Unit
  • The Executive Head of Delivery for Vodacom Business (VB) is a senior leadership position responsible for the end-to-end delivery of products and solutions across all Business Units representing total revenue for VB. The role’s mandate is to ensure that all contracted client commitments are delivered per client requirements, timeously, profitably and client satisfied. Role Purpose/Business Unit:
  • The Executive Head of Delivery for Vodacom Business (VB) is a senior leadership position responsible for the end-to-end delivery of products and solutions across all Business Units representing total revenue for VB. The role’smandate is to ensure that all contracted client commitments are delivered per client requirements, timeously, profitably and client satisfied. The role will be responsible for both implementation and post implementationoperations contracts, and mitigating delivery risks through robust contract and partner management. However, for complex multiple BU solutions, beyond mobile or for ventures or partner-delivered solutions, the Executive Headis responsible for setting up a delivery operating model comprised of a combination of internal resources (consolidation of what is already in the business) or partnership models with ventures or external partners. The executive head is accountable for the strategic governance, orchestration, and operational excellence of complex solution delivery across Vodacom’s Mobile, Fixed, and Beyond Connectivity portfolios.
  • The role acts as a critical bridge between product teams, internal delivery units, and external partners to shape and uphold delivery frameworks that enhance customer experience and prevent downstream issues.
Your responsibilities will include:

Role Purpose

To establish, lead, and continuously enhance the Data Management & Analytics Centre of Excellence, driving the development and execution of enterprise-wide data governance, management, and analytics strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • At least 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or technology roles within banking, telecommunications, or insurance.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in bridging business and technology for enterprise-wide data delivery.
  • Strong technical expertise in Azure Synapse, SQL, and data integration, Metadata and Master Data Management platforms.
  • Proven track record in executing analytics use cases .

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic data leadership

  • Lead the implementation of the enterprise data and analytics strategy aligned with business priorities, ensuring delivery of measurable business value.
  • Champion data governance, management, and quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with South African regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technology teams, translating business priorities into scalable, governed, and reusable data and analytics solutions.
  • Foster and embed a data-driven culture throughout Guardrisk, driving consistent data practices across all business units.

Data Management & Architecture

  • Define and enforce standardised data input formats, source specifications, and data ingestion processes within the Guardrisk ecosystem.
  • Maintain and enrich a comprehensive data catalog with clear metadata, lineage, and ownership for transparency and traceability.
  • Align cross-functional units on common logic, definitions, joins, and KPIs to ensure enterprise-wide data consistency.
  • Continuously monitor data quality metrics, driving remediation efforts and maintaining trust and compliance.
  • Lead data governance bodies such as Data Council and Data SteerCos to oversee data governance frameworks.

Use Case Execution For Support Functions

  • Develop, operationalise, and oversee analytics use cases for support functions (Finance, Risk, HR, Compliance, Actuarial), particularly where dedicated data teams are absent.
  • Integrate trusted datasets and analytics outputs into day-to-day business processes to enable informed decision-making.
  • Enforce guardrails to ensure all analytics initiatives adhere to governance and compliance standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to internal analytics teams, ensuring alignment with central data architecture and standards.

Data Governance and compliance

  • Drive enterprise-wide adoption of central data definitions and datasets, promoting reuse and knowledge sharing.
  • Define and enforce data retention, archiving, and lifecycle management policies per regulatory requirements.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance metadata management, lineage tracking, and data quality assurance.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for data privacy and ethics programs, ensuring lawful and ethical data usage

Technology and IT Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with IT leadership to design and maintain data pipelines, storage, and infrastructure that meet business needs.
  • Influence IT investments, ensuring data architecture and toolsets are flexible, scalable, and compliant to effectively enable execution of the Data strategy across the enterprise.
  • Build and maintain the data pipelines and infrastructure that allows for analytics use case execution

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

LEGAL EXECUTIVE – LAND RIGHTS MANAGEMENT

KEY OUTPUTS

  1. Provide strategic support to the Chief Executive Officer in the development of a Strategic Plan, operational plans and budgets in relation to the delivery of the land claims legal services offering.
  2. Participate as a member of the Management Executive Committee and the Management Committee with a specific focus on the delivery of legal representation in land-related matters services offering.
  3. Provide strategic direction, guidance and lead the implementation of setting up a new business capability for land legal representation within Legal Aid SA.
  4. Oversee the transfer of the legal representation function (and related budget) currently undertaken by the Land Rights Management Facility of the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development to Legal Aid SA.
  5. Research, anticipate and mitigate against legal risks facing Legal Aid SA and develop organisational policy positions on legal representation in land-related matters services.
  6. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with the relevant stakeholders – private and public bodies in order to leverage opportunities for the delivery of land claims legal services outside of the Legal Aid SA national footprint.
  7. Develop and maintain strategic service provider partnerships with the legal profession by developing, maintaining and managing an outsourced system of briefing accredited Legal Practitioners in order to leverage opportunities to increase the scope of land legal services delivery.
  8. Maintain strategic business partnerships with the Legal Aid SA Executives in order to ensure the achievement of Legal Aid SA strategic objectives.
  9. Ensure the effective implementation of a sound Governance Framework for the legal services delivery operating system and oversee compliance with all relevant legislation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. LLB or other relevant South African legal qualification.
  2. A highly respected Legal Practitioner with 10 years’ experience in legal representation on land-related matters, five (5) of which should be in a senior position.
  3. An Admitted Legal Practitioner with the right of appearance in South African courts.
  4. Strong knowledge of legal representation on land-related matters’ core business administration processes and systems.
  5. Ability to lead, influence and persuade in the best interests of Legal Aid SA.
  6. Strong knowledge of land reform disciplines and how to implement and leverage these within a complex business environment, with particular skills at the Land Claims Court, High Court, Supreme Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court level. Litigation skills, legal drafting, legal research, legal practice ethical and professional compliance management.
  7. Experience in providing critical customer and stakeholder needs and insights in the implementation of land reform legal representation matters.
  8. Project and programme management experience is essential.
  9. Excellent organisation and leadership skills, business acumen and the ability to deal with ambiguity, meet demanding deadlines and manage projects.
  10. Ability to lead by creating an inspired vision, modelling the way and creating an environment which maximises team effectiveness.
  11. Able to partner with the support platform Executives in the achievement of strategic objectives.
