Key Performance Areas1. Credit Assessment and Risk Management
- Analyse all the presented information and complete a sensitivity analysis in order to mitigate risks associated with the client portfolio
- Risk model validations, to ensure that data captured by AES & Business Analyst are accurate.
- Capture data on the back office pricing model and scoring the credit application for pricing purposes
- Conduct customer visits as required by CDB from time to time or as required by front line
- Prepare proposal for recommendation to CAC and CCC (for approval/decline) and consideration by the relevant Credit Committee in accordance to Bank's Credit policy and agreed processes and procedures
- Presenting credit submission to the GM and committee as and when required
- Update Credit Manager & GM Commercial Credit with the weekly work in progress report to improve turnaround time
- Check the correctness of documents uploaded by Credit Administrator for committee meetings
- Assisting the Credit Manager Commercial Credit with management of Portfolio Region(s) and constantly keeping Portfolio Manager(s) and General Manager(s) at the Branch up to date with credit applications
- Advisory services to front line and providing training as necessary
- Assisting in improving the growth and decreasing the Non-Performing Loans by producing good quality loan assessments.
- Check the accuracy of the credit submission submitted by the Business Analyst
- Escalate any risk pertaining to credit applications to management
2. Stakeholder Relationship Management and Team Support
- Build relationships with all the relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding of requirements and addressing any credit related issues
- Respond to queries received from the Branch operations and the relevant Credit Committee
- Promote a culture of credit risk management at branch level.
