Duties & Responsibilities

(Travelling will be required)

  1. Conduct site meetings.
  2. Ensure that uniform standards of all employees are always correct.
  3. Conduct minted meetings on all sites.
  4. Perform night checks on all nightshift sites twice a month.
  5. Ensure that posting sheets are completed.
  6. Manage the Compliance Officers by ensuring the allocated audits are conducted.
  7. Recruit new Security Officers/Risk Administrators – conduct interviews and select appropriate candidates.
  8. Identify non-adherence to procedures.
  9. Manage basic month-end functions within the area.
  10. Control and manage overtime during the wage cycle.
  11. Manage staff turnover.
  12. Ensure termination processes are applied per company policy.
  13. Handle wage queries.
  14. Manage leave (annual and sick).
  15. Oversee lockups and closing of the stores.
  16. Conduct legislative training when required (travelling will be required) including FF, FA, SHEQ, etc.
  17. Conduct security training.
  18. Schedule candidates/employees into training sessions.
  19. Track learner progress and maintain training records.
  20. Enter training records into a database.
Desired Experience & Qualification

Must be willing to travel.

PSIRA grade A would be an advantage.

Must have a reliable vehicle and valid Driver’s License.

Good administrative skills required and experience in IR essential.

Matric.

Qualified Facilitator and Assessor would be a huge advantage.

Package & Remuneration

Salary offered between R17,000.00 and R20,000.00 (based on experience).
