We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and help us find great people across all areas of our business. This role plays a key part in keeping recruitment on track, which in turn allows the broader HR function to focus on projects like talent strategy, automation, and scaling support for our teams across local, international, and distribution areas.
You’ll take full ownership of the hiring process, from posting the role to securing the right person for the position and handing over to the onboarding team. If you enjoy working in a fast-moving environment, building strong relationships, and finding the right people for the right roles, this could be a great fit for you.
What you’ll be doing:
Handling end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles across the business
Working closely with hiring managers to understand what they need, both now and in the future
Building a strong pipeline of candidates so we can fill roles quickly
Managing recruitment platforms and tools to keep things running smoothly and efficiently
Making sure we meet targets and keeping the hiring process consistent
Keeping an eye on how we can use tools and data to make recruitment even better
What we’re looking for:
A 3–4 year degree (HR or Organisational Psychology preferred)
3 years of experience in a recruitment agency or fast-paced in-house role (start-up or non-corporate experience is great)
Someone who is comfortable with change and can adapt quickly
Any experience using tools like TeamTailor, Jira, Trello, Power Automate, Power BI, or AI tools is a bonus
Certifications like Scrum, Agile, Six Sigma, AIHR, or Vanessa Raath’s Talent Hunter would be helpful but are not required

- Recruitment experience (3 - 5 years)
- A Valid Driver’s License

What You’ll Do For The Brand
- Follow the recruitment process as outlined, unless otherwise advised.
- Obtain recruitment pre-authorization form signed off by management to proceed with the recruitment process.
- Draft internal and external advertisements for vacancies. Place adverts after sign off from the Recruitment Manager or HRM. Submit all advertisements to the Recruitment Manager for final approval.
- Conduct pre-screening interviews against job spec and eliminate unsuitable candidates early on in the recruitment process. Collate and present CVs to the line manager for consideration.
- Coordinate/facilitate interviews. Coordinating Diary times and scheduling interviews with relevant Line Managers and/or HRM.
- Ensure competency-based interview questions are posed as part of the targeted selection process.
- Ensure that reference checks are completed for the final shortlisted candidate, as well as other formal checks (credit/fraud/criminal/qualification/driver’s licence etc. where appropriate), and obtain a most recent pay slip.
- Discuss a potential offer put forward by the line manager for the Recruitment Manager and HRM to consider.
- Draft offer letter for candidate after the package has been approved.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data. Ensure that interview notes, guides, and reference checks are uploaded onto the HRIS.
- Ensure that all candidates who do not meet the requirements are advised by way of rejection letters or emails. Ensure each candidate has received feedback regarding the outcome of the interview/ensure agencies receive feedback.
- Utilize the internet for recruitment by posting positions to appropriate internet sources. Research new ways of advertising positions. Use Social and Professional Networking sites to identify and source candidates. Network with industry contacts, and association memberships to source the best quality candidate. Aid Public Relations in establishing Hollywood as a recognizable “Employer of Choice”.
- Maintaining a pool of readily available candidates. (Ensure continuous follow up’s are made)
- Formally start building a database of candidates that can be referred to.
- Coordinate psychometric assessments. Scheduling psychometric testing as and when required by the Recruitment Manager and HRM. Send briefs to candidates and invites in terms of sessions. Administer assessment sessions. Obtain informed consent and keep it on file to submit with the final employee file to HR. Send online PPA assessment links to candidates when required.
- Providing daily reports and monthly reports, attending weekly recruitment reporting meetings on the status and turnaround times.
- Attend to ad hoc HR related tasks/projects as and when the need arises.

- Manage a database of active and passive candidates for future hiring needs.
- Recruitment Metrics & Reporting
- Track and report on key recruitment KPIs, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rates.
- Provide regular recruitment reports and insights to leadership and executive management.
- Utilize recruitment software and applicant tracking systems efficiently. Diversity & Inclusion Implement strategies to attract and hire diverse candidates.Ensure recruitment practices are inclusive and free from bias. Onboarding Coordination & Performance Follow-Up Work closely with HR Admin and Payroll to ensure new hires receive their uniforms and name badges promptly.Ensure all new employees are properly inducted into the company, including safety and operational procedures.Confirm that employment contracts, company policies, and payroll documents are signed and submitted before start dates.Coordinate initial training schedules and verify that new hires complete required training programs.Oversee that new employees pass any necessary assessments or probation evaluations as part of onboarding.Monitor onboarding effectiveness and retention rates, providing feedback for continuous improvement.Regularly check in with the new hire’s immediate line manager for performance feedback during the first 3 months, and inform the HR Department immediately about any issues or concerns to enable prompt support and resolution. Vendor & Agency Management Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and other external partners.Evaluate and negotiate contracts and assess vendor performance. Compliance & Record-Keeping Ensure all recruitment activities comply with labour laws and company policies.Maintain accurate and confidential recruitment records and documentation. Technology & Innovation Stay updated on new sourcing tools and recruitment trends to continuously improve processes.
