Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies: responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to achieve International’s sales and profitability targets.

- Contract management: responsible for managing contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and resolving any disputes that may arise.
- Risk management: identify and manage commercial risks including credit risk, supply chain risk and foreign exchange risk.
- Project and team management: manage and motivate team members both internally and externally providing leadership, guidance, and support as necessary.
- Relationship building: build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers ensuring the company's International’s commercial objectives are aligned with their needs.
- Stock Management: ensure accuracy and optimization of trade-related stock levels and manage overall stock holding in line with working capital targets.
- Business Development: Develop plans for expansion and business development in consultation with the NPD, marketing, sales and product management teams.

Job Description
The Sr. Sourcing Manager will execute complex sourcing projects, from start to finish, including but not limited to – sourcing requests validation per client guidelines, requirements analysis for the bid packages, communicating with client requesters to close any data gaps, prepare and publish the package to the identified suppliers for bidding purposes, following up with suppliers to ensure adequate participation, and summarizing proposals back to the requestor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of escalation with the team and client, communicating and resolving operational issues
- Ensure the client engagement is executed successfully per contract requirements.
- Provide leadership and consultation on strategic projects with high importance and visibility within the client
- Meet with the client program management team on a weekly basis and lead operations discussions. Lead process improvement discussions to enhance operations.
- Ensure client specific processes and exceptions are documented in a category strategy and other available Intellectual Capital (IC)
- Provides sourcing services (RFP, RFI, FRQ) to our clients based on predefined service levels, managing simple to complex projects simultaneously
- Lead and execute the sourcing process from start to finish, e.g. RFx development, reverse auctions, data analysis etc
- A strong understanding of the reverse auction methodology and concepts that apply to various sourcing scenarios: Lotting, Pricing, Supplier Communications, stakeholder change management.
- Collaborate with Client Category Managers and/or SMEs on project strategy and tailor sourcing execution based on direction provided by them

This position reports to the Supply Chain Analytics Manager.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Providing high quality analysis to the Supply Chain Development team working across all Supply Chain projects
- Enhancement of existing volume and capacity forecast models
- On-going alignment with Retail department on stock cover and related issues
- Providing inputs for the further development of Supply Chain network model and strategy
- Bridging gap between problems cases and data, from multiple data inputs and systems
- Identify areas of the business where data and metrics are needed to better understand and improve result
Attributes required:
- High level of proficiency with MS Office packages with proven advanced proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in Data Analysis and using statistical methods in R and Python
- Competence in SQL or other database software
- Competence in Data Visualization software
- Competence working with AI models & prompt engineering.
- Numerate with strong computer literacy and great analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines
- Excellent work ethic and ability to multitask
- Ability to identify problems, demonstrate the use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions
- Ability to understand supply chain issues and drive solutions
- Ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects under a deadline
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Statistics & Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science or similar
- Minimum of 3 years within a Data Analytics role preferably in Supply Chain within the retail/ecommerce industry or similar
- Minimum of 3 years experience using statistical methods (regression, forecasting and modeling) in Python and R.
- Minimum 2 years experience using data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau and Looker
- Minimum 3 years SQL scripting experience
