- Ensuring optimal production efficiencies and effectiveness by overseeing the production team and processes in alignment with Premier standard operating procedures, food and health and safety standards, as well as cost and quality requirements.
- Collaborating with the maintenance manager to ensure the baking process delivers consistent, high-quality products within specifications by:
- Adhering to baking process parameters.
- Identifying and correcting process variations and exceptions.
- Reporting equipment issues to maintenance for resolution.
- Supporting root cause analysis to address issues.
- Monitoring the resolution process to ensure baking parameters are maintained.
- Ensuring timely procurement from preferred suppliers within specifications.
- Reporting non-conforming raw materials to Quality Control.
- Receiving and inspecting deliveries against orders and specifications.
- Monitoring stock levels aligned with baking plans and demand.
- Working in a factory environment that is hot and noisy.
- Availability for overtime and unusual hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
