We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst – Point of Sale to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative retail solutions, ensuring the quality and reliability of our Point-of-Sale systems through rigorous manual and automated testing.

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Point-of-Sale systems.
• Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.
• Conduct API testing and utilize automated testing tools.
• Ensure adherence to structured test methods and processes.
• Document defects and track resolution using tools like Remedy or similar.
• Participate in Agile development processes and Scrum ceremonies.

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field (essential).
• Formal software testing training (ISEB, ISTQB CTFL) (essential).
• Advanced testing certification (ISTQB CTAL) (desired).

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Senior Test Analyst with manual testing, SQL, and Agile testing experience (essential).
• Strong knowledge of various testing types and methodologies (essential).
• Proven experience testing complex user interfaces (essential).
• Experience with API testing, automated testing tools, and configuration management systems (desired).
• Retail environment testing experience (desired).
• Familiarity with performance testing and user acceptance testing (desired).
• Experience with tools such as QC, QTP, Selenium, Test Complete, Robot Framework, or similar (desired).

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Point of Sale Manager to join their team in the beverage industry in the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, as well as a proven track record of managing point-of-sale systems and campaigns.

1. Develop and implement point-of-sale strategies to drive sales and improve brand visibility.
2. Manage the design, production, and distribution of point-of-sale materials.
3. Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
4. Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of point-of-sale initiatives.
5. Train and support retail staff on how to effectively utilize point-of-sale materials.
6. Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
7. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in point-of-sale management.

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
2. 5-10 years of experience in the FMCG industry and the Off-Premise trade specifically.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
4. Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
5. High numerical ability; discerns trends, patterns, and anomalies in data with probable cause and effect.
6. Must have the ability to retrieve, understand, and interpret data from numerous sources.
7. Operations and Logistics experience would be an advantage.
8. Project Management and experience in briefing and managing external agency partners.
9. Must have a valid driver's license and own transport.
