Area Manager Rustenburg Branch :

The above position is vacant at the Rustenburg Branch, reporting to the Branch Manager. The overall purpose of this position is to manage several Operations Managers, covering key areas such as client liaison, HR / IR matters, fleet management, expenses control, investigations, and ensuring the posting of security officers. The goal is to ensure all site security requirements are met and that clients' needs are efficiently and professionally addressed at all times.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Matric / Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
  • PSIRA Grade A / B registered.
  • Valid Driver's License with own reliable transport.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the security industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operational security management.
  • Working knowledge of the Firearm Act and firearm competency.
  • Staff management experience.
  • Computer literacy with expert knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • No criminal record or pending cases.
  • Sound planning, administration, interpersonal communication, and client liaison skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, along with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Flight Data Controller

An exciting vacancy exists at Kimberley Airport for an experienced Flight Data Controller within the Operations Management Division.

Key Performance Outputs

  • Accurately capture air traffic movement data including aircraft landing, take-off, and parking times.
  • Monitor all radio frequencies and escalate non-compliance issues.
  • Source estimated time of arrival/departure of various aircraft operators.
  • Update flight information display system (FIDS) data to provide passengers and airport users with up-to-date flight information.
  • Capture all movements in the Airport Management System.
  • Ensure airline schedules align with seasonal slots.
  • Generate and distribute resource plans (parking bay list) for stakeholders.
  • Notify Airport Operations of bay changes when required.
  • Manage flight allocation schedules and non-scheduled operations.
  • Liaise with Air Traffic and Navigation Service (ANS) to manage calculated take-off time (CTOT).
  • Manage aircraft changes and take remedial actions as needed.
  • Handle financial transactions and cash receipts.

  • Analyze stakeholder needs and identify improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills and Experience

Operations:

  • Chep recons – ensure weekly Chep reconciliations are completed and documented
  • Material handling equipment – ensure that all MHE checklists are reviewed daily and that all deviations and repairs required are attended to
  • Manage warehouse space to maximise storage capacity and streamline product movement
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse

Client interaction:

  • Ensure all client complaints are being dealt with timeously
  • Submit a monthly report to the General Manager, detailing complaints received
  • Attend SLA meetings with clients where required

People management:
