Medwell is looking to acquire the services of Registered Nurses with experience in the retirement industry, frail care and nursing care of persons with dementia for De Plattekloof Lifestyle Estate. The estate consists of a 12-bed Frailcare unit, 205 residential units and 106 assisted living units.
MAIN FUNCTION: Co-ordination and management of all healthcare services offered in the frailcare and assisted living on his/her shift.
LOCATION / SITE: De Plattekloof Lifestyle Estate, Plattekloof
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Registered Nurse with experience in the retirement industry and a passion for working with frail- and persons living with dementia.
Knowledge and practical experience of the professional requirements and procedures required as stipulated in the Scope of Practice of the South African Nursing Council.
Valid South African driver's license and own reliable transport.
BLS certified.
COMPETENCIES: Should appreciate the importance of person-centered care. Experience in taking lead of the management of healthcare services and staff in memory/frailcare unit for a particular shift. Good interpersonal skills. Able to work in multi-disciplinary team. Excellent communication skills. Fully computer literate in Ms Outlook, Word and Excel.
