The above vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurses at Life Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will contribute to the functioning of the ward and ensure quality nursing care to all patients.
Critical Outputs- Conduct basic duties to meet the requirements of quality patient care, ensuring that all activities carried out comply with the SANC regulations, relevant legislation and Life Healthcare policies and procedures.
- In-service training and education and continued education of patients.
- Maintaining excellent patient and customer care in accordance with Life Healthcare and client service standards.
- Supervise subordinates and provide guidance where necessary.
- Participating in all Health, Safety, Environment, Infection Control and Quality standards.
- Ensuring cost-efficiency regarding stock and other facilities.
- Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse
- Must be registered with SANC.
- Experience of working in a private hospital environment is preferred, yet not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Must be very energetic
- Performance orientated
- Must be able to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Able to work under pressure in constantly changing environment
- Must be willing to fulfil a role in the ward according to the flexi-hours and rotation system
- Ability to prioritize and mange time effectively

Screening of Employees and visitors.
- Conduct face to face screening of employees and visitors
- Measuring and recording body temperatures upon entering the building using the non contact infrared body temperature scanner Upon detecting a higher than normal body temperature, advise the employee/visitor accordingly and refuse access and advise to seek professional medical attention/scanning.
- Administering the movement of employees/visitors to complete Health Form (whether they display symptoms of the COVID-19 virus)
- Keep records of all movements into and out of the building
Education , experience and requirements :
• Qualified and registered as a Staff Nurse/Enrolled Nurse in South Africa (SANC)
• 3 years’ experience as a staff nurse

• Be prepared to work day and night shifts.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required with the ability to work under pressure.
