Responsible for managing all aspects of the company's active sales and marketing initiatives. Maximize the revenue of Vivari Hotel & Spa by Mantis by directing revenue-generating activities in line with the sales & marketing business plan. The candidate should be proactive, analytical, and results-oriented. All work must adhere to the company's guidelines, business plan, and Mantis / Accor corporate standards. Deliverables include key accounts sales plan, portfolio management, brand awareness growth, stakeholder engagement, and customer relationship management.

Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales targets through market and segment-specific activities.
  • Implement strategies to enhance market penetration.
  • Analyze sales data to determine profitability.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand client needs, occupancy potential, and desired rates.
  • Complete weekly/monthly sales reports and market trend feedback.
  • Utilize CRM tools like CVENT / ANAIS effectively.
  • Operate within budget constraints.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, General Manager, and Head Office.
  • Develop data-driven property inclusion strategies for client itineraries.
  • Use outside sales calls, webinars, and virtual trainings to generate new business locally and internationally.
  • Coordinate familiarization trips, educational visits, and site inspections.
  • Communicate client requests promptly to the General Manager.
  • Participate in trade shows, sales missions, and networking events to develop new business.
  • Manage local and international leisure and corporate contracts.
  • Maintain and grow the property database.

Marketing responsibilities include:

  • Implement marketing strategies aligned with regional and global campaigns.
  • Optimize SEO and manage website content for better user experience.
  • Leverage social media and content marketing trends.
  • Promote property-specific offers and specials.
  • Collaborate with PR and media to ensure brand consistency.
  • Measure and report on digital marketing performance against KPIs.
  • Update website content via CMS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience, including 2+ years in management.
  • Leadership skills to motivate sales teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and MS Office.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting sales data and market trends.

The client is seeking a Communications and Marketing Expert who can work with one of its implementing partner organisations to lead that organisation’s narrative and messaging strategy, while guiding its effective implementation across traditional and digital media.

The purpose of the assignment is to build a wide understanding of and support for the Just Energy Transition in South Africa—specifically for the implementation of the Just Energy Transition Investment Plan (JET IP).

Role and Responsibilities

Role: Communications and Marketing Expert

Direct Report: TBC

Candidates required: 1

Deliverables:

  • Stakeholders analysis that will inform the communications strategy

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Developing a compelling communication strategy and narrative
  • Matching specific messaging and platforms for different stakeholders
  • Using evidence to support the validity of the recommended narrative and messages
  • Developing methodology to enable performance assessment of the communicated narrative/messages
  • Using technology-enabled mechanisms to track narrative performance
  • Developing communications materials (posts, talking points, speeches, blogs, visual branding, presentations, news briefs, etc.)
  • Recommending speaking opportunities, producing events and products, toolkits, and training to drive the narrative
Requirements

Experience required:

  • Leadership in national-scale campaign narrative development and execution
  • Expertise in narrative development and sophisticated communications strategies, especially for high-level public interventions
  • Knowledge of narratives and messaging from South Africa’s Presidency office
  • Understanding of the climate mitigation and JET IP implementation context in South Africa
  • Experience in drafting compelling communications with traction among the public and targeted groups

Technical requirements:

  • Proven experience in narrative development, communications, and senior advocacy
  • Strong skills in workshop facilitation and presentation
  • Experience in managing social media and mainstream communications campaigns
  • Ability to draw insights from stakeholder engagement (government, policy makers, business, activists, trade unions, etc.)

Soft skills:

  • Consulting toolkit and ability to independently drive projects
  • Engagement with senior management, quick strategic adaptation, comprehensive project execution
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to gain stakeholder buy-in

The Analyst II, Marketing Strategy and Analysis is responsible for the monthly digital marketing budget and projected return on investment across programs and verticals(similar degrees offered across multiple partners, e.g. MBAs). The Analyst II, Marketing Strategy and Analysis will be directly responsible for managing a portfolio of paid tactics (Facebook, LinkedIn, Partnerships, etc.) across programs with moderate complexity and revenue impact for the business. This role has ownership of day-to-day optimizing of the health of programs within purview against KPI’s and is responsible for accurate management of spend.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Program Management and Monitoring:

  • Actively manages the marketing spend of 2-3 moderate to high complexity and revenue impact 2U programs
  • Uses data to flag risks and opportunities within programs/verticals, proactively suggests strategy to improve using statistics and analytical methods
  • Identifies and executes upon strong/weak spend opportunities with direction from management
  • Reports on pacing performance to leadership
  • Works cross-functionally to create and execute new media campaigns, troubleshoot data issues, and provide program data to stakeholders

Analysis:

  • Soundly speculates upon projected conversion of marketing tactics and likely ROI of spend for programs/verticals within scope
  • Performs analysis on program health and identifies trends impacting KPI’s, and highlights key discrepancies versus expectations to leadership
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis as needed to support the larger team
  • Acts as subject matter expert in 1+ key team functions

Planning:

  • Works with leadership to set the monthly paid digital marketing strategy and budget for 2-3 2U programs
  • Creates deliverables conveying detailed marketing plan on a monthly basis
  • Effectively articulates monthly marketing plan to leadership and makes necessary edits based on feedback

Project Management:

  • Responsible for successful and timely completion of both BAU and ad-hoc projects through collaboration with leadership
  • Owner of several key reporting/functional projects on behalf of the team
  • Influences cross-functional teams to deliver material needed to complete projects
  • Go-to owner of 1 or more business-critical projects

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree (from a business, economics, or math related field is a plus)
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, analytics, or relevant business using data to solve problems
  • Working knowledge of Excel, and some previous exposure to SQL or other databases
  • Experience working with media engines, such as Adwords, web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and data visualization tools, such as Tableau preferred.

Digital Product Strategy & Delivery Lead

Location: ZA, GP, Roodepoort, 4 Ellis Street

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Digital Product Strategy & Delivery Lead to drive the successful design, development, and deployment of high-impact digital platforms that solve real customer problems and deliver tangible business value. You will bridge the gap between strategy and execution—translating business goals into implementable plans, aligning multidisciplinary teams, and managing key stakeholders to ensure shared vision and outcomes.

Qualifications

Field of Study: Business Commerce
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Information Technology Experience Required
6+ years in product leadership, digital strategy, or platform delivery roles.
Proven experience leading end-to-end development of digital platforms, preferably in emerging or underserved markets.
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to turn complex objectives into actionable roadmaps.
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Deep understanding of Agile, Lean Startup, and customer-centric product development approaches.
Experience with community-driven platforms or financial inclusion tools is a strong advantage.
